I don't think the google algorithms would work for a single page - it works based on links to something, rather than text.

The ipod killer is the iriver IHP. It has everything, costs less, plays ogg, plays wma, records to mp3, has opticalout/in, fm radio, text reader etc, longer battery life, comes with remote with display. It's the bomb, and it is more awesome than UMA is terrible. Archos's stuff is what MSFT is planning on making, and nobody is buying that either. The next big thing: "ipod"'s with wifi p2p file sharing.

I made my decision by this reasoning. You and I were in a car crash, and you were hooked up to a life support system which filtered my blood and fed it into you. Without this attachment, you will die. I wish to leave the room. I do not wish to support you. I don't like you. I think I have the right to detach myself from your life support system. I don't have an obligation to find someone else to hook up or anything like that. If your life depends on me, I have a right to refuse. Sorry sucka. Sorry fetus.

Evil. Alternate solutions exist that do not involve privacy invasion. I can root out child pornography by putting cameras in everyone's house, but the good end doesn't justify the invasion of privacy.

  10. Done it. Didn't fully work. Still happy. on Laser Vision Surgery for Developers? · · Score: 1

Got my eyes done last October. I had 20/400 in one eye, 20/600 in the other. I had PKR instead of lasik due to weak corneas. My vision isn't 20/20, but better than 20/40. Still have weird night vision. (bright lights at night or in dark places are very fuzzed and feathery, which made some night driving a little uncomfortable. Still, I am very happy to be free of glasses, to wake up, open my eyes and see. I look better, I don't have to keep up with and clean glasses or contacts, and it only cost a K. No more falling asleep reading a book with glasses on. No more awkwardly taking the specs off while making out. Get to wear cool sunglasses. Very worth it.
