XF4 has this utility that lets you configure multiple devices:
xf86cfg
and it seems to work with multiple monitors and video card. it has a icon to "add mouse" but it crashed:(
deleting multiple folders are one of the things that are much easier in UNIX than Windows.
Children use Macintosh because Steve Jobs and Co. decided to stuff these machines decades ago. (smart move, they know that most grade school teachers are simple too lazy to learn new things.)

For those of us who started using command line early in our childhood, we are the living proof that children are less afraid of command line than adults. they will beat thier teachers in a short period of time. Bussinessmen, however, hate to learn anything; they'd pay, they'd sacrifice productivity in order not to learn new things. which is why GUI's are so popular in bussiness.
I think children are supposed to be taught to use computers in command line; the hard part is to train the teachers.

Just because you hate spammers doesn't mean that they deserve to lose thier freedom. It is the same argument that just because you hate blacks, homosexuals, jews or whatever does not give you any more rights than what they have. If a kid hacks into IBM's mail server just to exploit security holes, would you like to see him sentences for 7 years in jail?
The support for freedom means freedom for EVERYBODY. That is freedom for those you disagree with, freedom for anyone. Look around the posts, you'd find that most people in the industry will first point fingers at the admin; because that's where the blame should go.

Windows. Let's talk about Windows. Windows pretty much do not allow you to fine tune your hardware to run as what it's capabile of. Windows only uses lower refresh rates, and it basically burn your monitor for a few seconds and see if you think it's out of sync. wow. What a innovation.
You bastard! That is a IBM's legendary buckling spring M-type keyboard that the kid drilled on! Those keyboards deserve some respect, I tell ya, they are better than any of CmdrTaco's lame keyboards combined.
There are a lot of fans for these keyboards who will happily adopt it from you, please don't destroy them. A new one is 80+ dollars.
Your criticism against X is simply not true. I have serious eye problem, too. I must move my own monitor to work. I got a high end 21 inches monitor and with a virtual desktop of 1200x1600, the resolution is configured all the way down to 300x400.
To give you an idea. Right now, I'm holding a ruler and your post in netscape measures as a bit more than 1/4 inch for the caps. a little more than 0.7 a cm. This is acceptable to most people. When I zoom in to the lowest resolution, each capped character measures 0.7 inch.
X is much better for people with eye problems compared to Windows. XFree lets you change resolution with one keystroke. Windows? at least 0.5 minute to change resolution. This allows you navigate with slightly higher resolutions, and zoom in when you need to read something.
If you got eye problems, you simply cannot use any low end displays and you must change monitor every 3 years. Don't be a cheap bastard, make sacrifice on your hard drive, CPU, and buy the best monitor/video card you can afford.
And Geeez! If you got an eye problem, maybe you should stop playing computer games and go out some more. You need your eyes to do something more productive on the screen.
What you need is a good XF86Config file, fine tuned, and a very fast pointing device (mine is a Logitech trackmanFX) that moves super fast across the desktop. Or put in a second 21 inches monitor for a dual head. If the monitor becomes a little blured, THROW IT AWAY, or get the manufacturere to replace it like I do.
And don't whine about desktop publishing, either. I used to be a graphics designer. graphics designers do not demand as crisp the monitor as programmers, and CAD operators. They don't need to look hard.
