In early 70's Richard Bandler (programmer!) and John Grinder (psychologist) started development of Neuro-Linguistic Programming.
Since then NLP evolved and was applied in many areas. Big Corporations were among main clients of NLP-masters. Other clients: (...There were many of them, for sure!...).
Hidden (for near everybody) technology took world under the hook. Look at ever-smiling politics, hear what about they say... really.
Now, 10 years after M. Hall developed neurosemantics, more of this technology is available for "people" (and, I suppose, with less objections which might arose around NLP).
Mind control, which is obvious application of NLP, should be recognizable by everybody - especially citizens of "democratic" countries...
I suppose so. Look at masses of people wasting time. GREAT teachers existed in the past (Budda for example), GREAT teachers have been teaching in period of our lifes (say 25 years): Dalaj Lama and John Paul II. They teach how to open your eyes. I just think it is more question about our conscioussness, and there is some hope (I mean I have been gaining hope from words of the wisdom, and wish you the same). We live in Kali-yuga or Civilisation of Death now and only real awakening can give hope not only for us (people) but also for other living beings here. Otherwise... maybe we shouldn't experience this what can happen in our lifetime period.
Some time ago I have subscribed to Biofeedback-L, my observation are that Neurofeedback is succesful therapy for ADD/ADHD. Stricly speaking, NeuroFeedback (or Biofeedback) are tools for regulation of body functions and this is no-medicatement therapy, but more training-alike.
Here are some excerpts from letter of Phil Bate PhD to List:
For approximately 85% of diagnosed ADD/ADHD children 60 half-hour sessions are sufficient. (For about 50% success only 40 sessions is sufficient). Each child is individual - some diagnosed as ADD/ADHD may be closer to autism, or have actual brain damage. These need more half hour sessions, up to as many as 200 (according to Dr Von Hilsheimer, who has had more experience in this field than most Now, why spend $6000? You can lease a complete unit that is really quite simple for $300 a month. You can buy that same unit for $1850. EEG biofeedback simply isn't brain surgery, but it's relatively simple to understand and to train children out of the ADD/ADHD and other symptoms. I've seen many successes and few failures over the past two years I've been leasing such machines. Now, I've just signed up with Play Attention (http://www.playattention.com) , as their exclusive leasing agent. This system is the best I've ever seen. It is structured with lots of video "games" that can be played in sequence to achieve the desired training. These motivate the student to keep playing, a critical part of home training. This program even teaches the parents how to motivate their kids.
