    The old VW type 1 only had 50 horsepower.
    Besides not like they will be able to road a 2 cycle engine here in the states. The old honda insight had a 1 liter engine that made 67hp. In the tata that would probably be fine.

    For $3k I would be interested in one for a second car. Something that I can drive in the winter on city streets and not worry about rotting out or wrecking would be great since it would be so cheap to replace.

    The UN is just a meeting place for nations to hash our their differences. It has everyone pulling in their own direction and no ability to govern or lead to some conspiracy shadow government.

    First come up with a way to mine an asteroid, then you can worry about the legal semantics.

    3. Because we have a cadre of resident ayn rand nutters. They love anything that means they get to feel superior and blaming their problems on others. They hate being responsible for anything, even more so another human being. They like to talk about personal responsibility, but have no real interest in it. They will forgo insurance and rip me and you off by getting free care at the ER. They talk about how being forced to get car insurance is a moral outrage, but would still drive with no way to cover any costs incurred in an accident.

    I don't. I do however enjoy them, and no store bought produce beats home grown. Cucumbers that were picked minutes ago beat the heck out of the soggy ones they have at the store.

    I had 3 pots of them on the balcony this year and ended up with at least several pounds.

    Portal 2 is old?
    It just hit a year this month. Is 6 months to old? How recent do you want?

    Portal 2 runs on IGP it does not yet natively run on linux. Either way nvidia's days are numbered.

    Portal 2 is source engined and came out less than a year ago.

    Oh noes, you had to write your own code instead of taking others hardwork as your own with no intent to contribute back. What a big problem.

    You would not have sent any patches to the BSD project, that is why BSD is lagging so far behind. Everyone wants to take and take.

    The kernel is still GPL. Anything android devs do there has to be released. They will be stuck sticking to user space drivers, like they do now.

    How many FPS is that?

    All I need is 60, monitor does not show more than that anyway.

    The time is coming when intel GPUs will be good enough for even gamers. They already good enough for Source engined games.

    Much like moores law killed sound cards the dedicated GPU is not going to be around forever.

    L4D2 will run fine on intel, portal 2 already does.

    This trend will continue and the solution will be the death of Nvidia.

    The reality is a third party call center with multiple clients can do a better and cheaper job. Their agents are talking more calls per hour and doing a better job than some fresh hire at a company that looks at call centers as just another cost.

    I am not talking about foreign call centers. I mean outsourcing inside the USA.
