    Bullshit, if they make any claim at all when selling a product they should be able to prove it. How many thousands of dollars are wasted every year on enzyte and magnetic bracelets, and homeopathic drowning cures?

    Because that is what this ruling is about. It is about charlatans selling a procedure to inject some processed stem sells to cure everything.

    A study, even one done by a private company is not what we are talking about. A proper study is going to be paying patients, not charging them. A proper study will not be making advertising claims about the magic of stem cells.

    Oh bullshit. I have worked in hospitals and have family that still do. Most doctors like most everyone else goes to work to make money.

    They went through medical school and took on huge debts so they could make large six figure incomes, nothing more. They are getting rich, lawsuits are a drop in the bucket, less than 1% of medical expenses.

    The doctors you are speaking about are impacted by this ruling anyway, they are running studies. This ruling impacts people selling unknown goods to suckers.

    They are drugs as they processed in this fashion.

    Also this entire procedure should be regulated in the same way any surgical procedure should be.

    No one ever harvested fetuses for stem cells. They used medical waste from abortions. No abortions were done just to get some stem cells.

    AppArmor/SElinux should have no trouble doing just that.

    Wine would only be able to touch the .wine dirs, ideally.

    I have another user account for wine. I log into that when I want to play games. I also remove the wine share back to the real drive.

    I did this after some proofs of concept showing that detecting malware is running on wine then doing icky stuff came out.

    This is software installed by the user on purpose, it is no flaw in windows that allowed it in. You could write software to do the same thing on any number of OSes.

    I am no windows fan, but you can't blame them for this.

    Who is actually surprised?

    This is the one thing that has me worried about Steam on linux. Using it in wine I can be fairly sure I have it limited to one user account and no real ability to mess with the machine, but when it installs natively who knows.

    Actually class mobility in the USA is pretty much at an all time low.

    I know that conflicts with your American Dream mythology, but that is all it ever was a myth.

    Starting your own business in the US is easy, making it big pretty much requires political connections or connections with already established big business.

    Seems like the Chinese are run by government bureaucrats and we are run by Corporate bureaucrats.

    China is getting a huge amount of capital which raises their standard of living, although, due to not having a free market it really only raises the standard of living for those at the top.

    How is that different than the USA? Wages have been stagnent for all but those at the very top for decades. Real income is actually slipping.

    The issue with getting it on iOS is not technical it is business related. They do not want to give apple a 30% cut of their subscriptions, they probably can't afford to the AAA games.
