    All modern smartphones support activesync, other servers have that as well. The correct method is one that can be used by all my clients, not all my clients run outlook. Exchange has never been the right solution, it does not play well with others.

    Why is it tyrannical to require doctors to practice medicine properly to retain their licenses?

    If you fail to drive properly you will lose that license. This is what licenses are for, to restrict a set of activities to those who are qualified and do them properly.

    Tuberculin tests are just that, they test for the antibody. So even people who are no longer infected, or were vaccinated will test positive.

    When flying into Frankfurt they do not return your bags to you if you are heading to another german airport. Why do we have airports that do not have customs/passport control? Clearly the area is then too small to need a public airport.

    No, it means just the bags that were checked in London and end up in Fresno.

    So 3 nations do it that way, everyone else does it the right way. I fly to Germany quite a bit and always land in Frankfurt then go to Stuttgart. I do customs in Stuttgart.

    Don't use a pistol. Too many laws in many towns about that. Use a starter gun, blank gun or bolt action rifle.

    No, it is a non-standard method that is commonly used. Without any documentation what do you expect? The correct action is to turn on IMAP and ICAL, if it supports the latter.

    Only the USA and China make you take your bags through customs at your point of entry. So even ex-Soviet states are more convenient to travel to.

    It took that to convince your dad? For your sake I hope naivete is not genetic.

    Never leave anything valuable in your checked bags. Take it as carryon, leave it at home, mail it, or check it with a gun since those bags are inspected in front of you then kept locked and tracked for the whole trip. Choose the option which is most suited to your situation.

    Application connections? That shit only works with MS apps, nothing else supports them. Unlike the might | that everything works with.

    Turn on imap, then any client works fine.
    Exchange refuses to use a standard connection method, whose fault is that?

    2. powershell is hell. If you want to pass objects use perlshell. Objects are a waste of time 99% of the time.

    We have no H1Bs, we never have. There are things that just cannot be practically on the job trained. Ever seen an on the job trained network guy? Sad, they know the commands to do stuff, but no idea how to do anything beyond that since they don't understand how it actually works.

    Not at all. I have been many times accused of being a linux fanboy, but the NT kernel does somethings very well. The tragedy is that it is strapped to the windows userland. DOS on the other hand is a very simple OS with no scheduler, no real HAL, and pretty much is a sad copy of CPM.

    Backup is config and forget. My bacula config has not been touched in ages. When the holiday freeze ends maybe then it will get touched to add new machines.
