    You can say lots of about a product and not be a shill, prewritten comments and promoting tons of product from one vendor at once is clearly shill behavior.

    I tried to use an iphone the other day, I felt the same way. Why the fuck is there no back button? Why cannot I not access setting from inside the mail client?

    Much of human factors is personal preference and what you are used to.

    They backed out of that. Carriers are allowed to block updates. None have done so yet, but once they want you to buy a new phone they will.

    First to market advantage is all the small inventor has ever had. Patents don't help them, never did. They either cannot afford a patent, or the big boys will build patent walls around them, with patents like "using your patent in a heated room".

    That is not a sign of the system being broken, that is just a sign of you not understanding its purpose. The system is working exactly as these big companies want it too. They can live through suing each other and are more than willing to deal with it if it keeps out any new competitors.

    How to do that, is a matter of code, and should be copyrighted not patented.

    I bet your employee handbook has a similar section about not saying racist stuff at work. It is not understandable to be uncomfortable around people of a different faith or race, that is just racism. I am more nervous on the drive to the airport than on the plane, I realize I am far more likely to die in my car.

    If NYC was so undesirable why does it have half the population of the state?
    That is only the city, the metro area has a higher population than NY state. I would postulate the undesirables are folks like you that use such a term to refer to fellow humans on a regular basis.

    Did you miss how the Russians have been using it that long, but only recently was it wide enough for container ships and oil tankers?

    If humans or to blame or not is up for debate, the fact that there is less ice in the Northeast passage is just a fact.

    Indeed, I really like torchwood, but I cannot stand the last season. My girlfriend loves torchwood, even bought all the books, she tolerates the new season, but wishes hollywood had stayed away from it.
