My parents sent two kids to private expensive colleges and made less accounting for inflation. Try not spending every dime you make, try paying for this you can afford and not leasing/making payments on everything.
Shining light on corruption and racism is havok? Police emails should be public after X years anyway. Hopefully it costs some of these dirtbags their jobs.
The facts do not agree with that article for one no punitive damages are allowed.
Sure Price-Anderson cuts both ways, but if a real accident ever does happen the US taxpayer will be on the hook. No other industry gets that sort of treatment.
An AM3 board should be findable for $100 that does that. Not going to have 6 slots though, 4 though. I run VMs on servers, 256GB of RAM not a measly 24GB.
Your neighbors do have that right. I know of people sued because their construction ruined the view of an adjoining property. Why should nuclear power plants get even more protection?
They already have the government limiting their liability for them.
Yeah, I was off a little, what can I say I got my last Mobo on sale. Turns out it runs almost $80 now. AM3 board and yes I was including mail in rebate.
Fine as far as I can tell, but I have only taken some to home depot. Not had any break so far, but one 7 year old one did give out on me. I wish they would impose a $1500 fine on people who throw them in the trash though.
Way to prove you have no idea what you are talking about. Go buy some cheap and expensive mobos, compare them. See how the CPU is the same no matter what board you use so long as they are the same speed connectors and such.
I spent more on my SSD and video card than anything else. Keep telling me my machine is low end while you waste your money.
A coal plant is far cleaner than each little ICE. Even if all electric cars got their power from coal plants it would be a big win in terms of reduced pollution.
Many ways. Bonds, taxes, or even printing it. One solution would be a carbon tax on electricity. Just that would probably be enough to change the market conditions.
This is a pretty common issue with all kinds of products, if your competitors can undercut your price by polluting and you can't they kill you. Sometimes they do this by putting their plant in a country that does not care, or just by dumping their pollution into the air as a coal plant does.
Then why does every nuclear power plant require government backed loans, insurance and legally mandated limited liability? Have any plant owners ever paid for a decommissioning themselves without even more government support?
I like nuclear power, but for the free market it seems to be a non-starter.
It is what we do with every other energy source. Name one large commercially used energy source that does not get subsidies, tax breaks, government backed loans or liability protection of some form.
Also by that metric neither does nuclear. I am a huge fan of it, but not a one has been built in the USA without a government backed loan and the Priceâ"Anderson Nuclear Industries Indemnity Act means that liability is very limited and your rights to sue are as well.
No power source in the USA is free from subsidies and typical corporatist protection.
Also that is only 1 uncommon thing, not the two or three you claimed were common. In fact that is a law I agree with. You should have to prove that you do not use endangered woods in products you sell. You could just avoid using those types of woods altogether if ti is too much hassle. Interstate regulation of commerce is a federal power in the constitution!
No, not like that at all. Domino's just bought these special order already completed, like you can special order a car too. GM actually does design and assembly.
No one said anything about high availability, and if you want to dev on slow drives have fun.
What the fuck are you spending it on?
What does a three bedroom place run a month in flyover country? $500/month?

Change management on a dev server?
Your job sucks.
Bullshit, still a huge win.

Oh fine, $75.

So those wars you gents are fighting don't count?
Even without those, they don't get any tax breaks? I would be very surprised.
Replace MOBO is not a solution?
Oh Noes $50 dollars!
So in your universe mandatory recycling has not yet been invented?
Several states have subsidy programs for low e windows and solar water heaters.

Even your own link says their were built for Domino's, not by them.
