To reduce the number of reboots you might want to look into wine or the commercial option crossover. I know, I know, it might not be as fast, and it might not support every game ever, but if it works for you it could be an option.

5-7 members exceeds the average family size. A Corolla seats 5 and a station wagon can easily seat the amount of people you are talking about.

I run my own mailserver. My MUA sends to my MTA which send to their MTA.
I do not and would not use my ISPs mailserver.
