My managers are monitoring what candy I get from the vending machine
You know for someone who is supposed to be in charge of managing a department/whatever, has work (or should have) of their own to do, he's taking a really big interest in what I'm doing back here.
According to the information I have, the radio system used by the police and other law enforcement in this area is in the 800MHz range, in analog mode, I may be incorrect in this but I thought that digital TV would still be used within the normal UHF/VHF range, meaning the output frequency (of the TV transmitter) would be broadcasting at a significantly lower frequency in accordance with the 800MHz band. If anyone would like to confirm this or make corrections feel free to do so
Let's see if they actually give you the credit back to your account, chances are, they will just give you the "We didn't receive it" or "We need more information" type deal

>EVERY case I have seen regarding these issues have been either the merchant's fault, or PayPal freezing an account becuase it is involved in suspicious activity.
PayPal dosn't have the right to freeze accounts more then lets say a 30 day period, after 30 days, they should unfreeze it, or mail a check + whatever interest is on it for that period. PayPal froze my account once for no reason, so I made a new account, sent the amount plus another $30 for the inconvenience+the fee recovery, and did a chargeback, end result? Money is mine, no charges in my bill. Thanks PayPal!
Remember, Micro$oft probably paid to have XP promoted there, it's all just an attempt to lock down control over software piracy issues.
"Hey dear, check out this new hard drive I bought at the local computer store, but, before we can use it we need to let Microsoft "Activate" it, much like our cable box, do you remember both our social security numbers? They might ask for that too"
The word "XP" and Free should not be used in the same sentance. Micro$oft wouldn't allow anything "free", oh wait, I suppose you CAN buy a campus wide version, BUT, Service Pack (whatever) would be $89.99 to download
Remember, we are talking about a university here, all anti-piracy/SpyWare programs are pilot'd though them first before going public, XP is SpyWare, and RipOffWare, so why not try it here?
So if I use a flash memory cartridge to play backup GBA games, is it possible I could be banned from connecting to my GameCube?

Well, I assume since you hide behind your "Anonymous Coward" post, that one of the following conditions are met:
1) You do not have the balls to really tell me to shut up
2) You tried to port Linux to your Nokia, but you downloaded porn instead
3) Your Nokia is located somewhere in your ass, and you can't attempt a Linux port
4) Your Lame
Hey, at least my phone would be stable
