    I have heard of Kipling, Saskatachewan and a house is still a house. This one would come with a big bonus, a very large percentage of the 1100 people in that town, plus 100's of people who live on farms around that town would care about you. We are talking about the bring you supper and beer while your unpacking, care for you. Get up in the middle of the night to pull your car/truck/minivan out of a snowbank care for you.

    Granted no one would describe life as "fast-paced" and everyone would know details of your life. The joke about no one uses their signal lights because everyone knows where you are going is true.     I have. Even the mutual funds I buy must not include any MSFT stock. I can sleep better at night knowing I have not been a unknown participant in the MSFT madness. Greed is not good, greed is bad. The chair throwing tantrums of a CEO ARE CONSISTANT with the behaviour of the company since the begining. Not investing in companies that sell land mines, not investing in companies that behave badly, works for me.

    Sounds just like the equipment you use making beer. IMHO the best thing would be to: make beer, drink it, and let the fan cool you.

    Convolutus Counter Flow Wort Chiller: The inner tube is made from 12' of 5/8" convoluted (twisted) copper which continually turbulates the wort as it flows through. The outer tube is made from 7/8" copper. The Convolutus chiller allows you to pump wort through without having to restrict your pump to slow down flow. Use 1/2" line to connect to wort in and out feeds. The water connections are male and female hose connections.

    You could use this beer making technology to improve the design of this system.

    Take the first year off. Get your own place to live. Nothing will motivate you into your studies better than a crummy job for a horrible boss.

    You will learn several life lessons required to succeed in your choosen occupation, and in school life. My year off working in a store as a department manager gave me a extreme advantage to those who came to the business classes with only high school and mom's cooking under there belt. YMMV, this happened in 1980.

    The difference is: "Ubuntu now has a Live CD for every architecture they support, i386, AMD64 and PowerPC." Oh live CD x 3 that's new! "Additionally, the Hoary installer itself is a tiny bootstrap program, which is highly extensible, relatively easy to modify, and extraordinarily clever says jdub." That's important. Oh that bit about "jdub, being a GNOME developer as well, mentioned how the Ubuntu modifications (fixes and changes) are going upstream into GNOME. sharing the modifications upstream is important too.

    You are legally entitled and encouraged to copy, share, and redistribute this CD, for yourself and your friends.

    Must also answer Dreamhost, especially if you can find someone to share the cost with you. Nothing but excellent service. No kickback for me link to the plan comparisons at Dreamhost. Dreamhost has even survived slashdotting! US$8.00 per month when you prepay for 24 months and could be shared with two other domains.

    If this was software everyone would understand.
    Picture this, a square mile of warez software in a field along side a freeway leading to "Microsoft Headquarters".
    If you open a store selling Warez software in a major mall you will get sued too.

    Depends on the level of Purchase Order Control you would like. For many just tracking the document will be enough control. A Open Office Calc template can do this. Include a vlookup for the vendors name and address. Need a P.O.? Click on the template and OOo will create a blank document. Fill in the details and make a PDF, file it in a folder using the purchase order number as the name.

    I think if you were to look into the legal history of Percy Schmeiser of Bruno Saskatchewan you may find that he has spent a lot of time in the court system. Certainly more than me. Perhaps he has family members who are lawyers and like to spent time with them?

    It was clear that the browser form from Canada Customs and Revenue Agency passes "the test" using Mozilla 1.5, but is that not only submitting your taxes? One still needs to prepare one's tax's.

    What is the point of preparing your tax's with Microsoft Windows Software like Quicktax and then switching to GNU/Linux to submit the result. I would like to do both with Mozilla and GNU/Linux.

    Checked out the list of software and I'm going to use Cutetax this year. It is low cost and because it is browser based it just might be GNU/Linux friendly.
