Although it is not exclusive to Nazi camps, it is primarily used to describe them. When somebody says ghetto, most people think Nazi camps. I know that's what I thought of. I just don't like people referring to bad neighorhoods as ghettos, I feel it's demoralizing to those who really did suffer in ghettos (whether they be during the Holocaust, in Rwanda, Bosnia, Yugoslavia, Chechnya, or anywhere else).
It has much to do with concentration camps. The Nazis first put the Jews and other minorities into ghettos, and later transfered them to concentration camps where they would be gassed. Eh?
Nope, I don't think I have. Might be because most of the people to ever set foot in one were gassed by the Nazis over fifty years ago. I don't know what ghetto you're talking about...
Personally, I wouldn't buy a flat screen until I could get a 19" one for under $499. I have lots of deskspace and another desk is always cheaper than the price difference between a CRT and LCD. I'd be interested, in the Slashdot community, how many people use LCDs, and for those who don't, what would the price/size have to fall/rise to that you would buy one?
If you have to use your own special paper and your own special pen to get it to work, why not just develop a wireless Wacom tablet? What a friggin' waste of money. But not as much of a waste as Logitech's next product...the DildoMan Optical Cordless! And for those who want a little more, the DildoMan Dual Optical. But, wait, there's more! If you're worried about CTS, there's the DildoMan Ergonomic Pro! And the best part is, you don't need $9.99...er..."media."
And how many of these "chic geeks" do you think even know what operating system they're running? Reminds me on TechTV's "The Screensavers" when they'll have a "Bit Chat" and at the end Martin will ask them if they use a computer, and they'll reply, "No, I never really got into computers."
I'm a Windows user, never tried *nix, but I was just thinking about how useful the "run" command box was. I'm smart enough to realize that this is equated to the command line in *nix, but there should be a quick way to get to it. I know in Windows I frequently use it to open up webpages (simple press Windows Key + R and then type: iexplore "whatever.com" or opera "askjdf.com". It seems like it would be such a useful addition to any OS.
What idiots. Everybody knows that Wyoming just doesn't exist. In fact, it has even been proven. Honestly, do you know a Wyom...wait a minute, they don't even have a adjective to describe them! What a fraud.
And I'd scold him, too, if I got the chance. ;-)

If I gave you fifty cents, could I touch you? Just touching somebody who has a setup like that would definitely be the highlight of my life.
