No, I was just referring to the healing that is involved in repairing tissue after a reaction. NOT the reaction. Some extreme reactions cause entire body-wide outbreaks that take sometimes weeks to heal. Boosted AGF in conjunction with allergy therapies that suppress immune response seems like it would be even better than just steroidal therapy and antihistamines.

:-) No. I do have allergies though, and an associated dermititis. More intense allergic reactions to food and other allergens cause rashy manifestations. It is very unpleasant.
I'm hoping that this technology can be used somehow to shorten the length of this type of reaction, but I guess more research is needed - the article only mentions injuries.
What I'm interested in is whether increased AGF healing still leaves scars. The article also didn't remark on that.
The district has known about some aspects of this vulnerability for nearly nine months, but failed to take action until the Weekly informed officials of the situation late last week -- a somewhat ironic development given the school board's recent adoption of a technology-use policy.
Well when it comes to information security on Palo Alto networks, they get a big F. Fortunately, a low-level net admin was able to change the grade to an A.
We need another space race to re-ignite technological advancement? /hopeful optimism
I think we need another arms race...on the moon!
See, in order to destroy ourselves effectively, we cannot rule out other worlds. I can't wait till we take these stakes a la luna.

Electrodynamic Reboost
In order for the tether facility to boost multiple payloads, it must have the capability to restore its orbital energy and momentum after each payload transfer operation. If the tether facility has a power supply, and a portion of the tether contains conducting wire, then the power supply can drive current along the tether so as to generate thrust through electro-dynamic interactions with the Earth's magnetic field. By properly controlling the tether current during an orbit, the tether facility can reboost itself to its original orbit, as illustrated in Figure 1. The tether facility essentially serves as a large "orbital energy battery," allowing solar energy to be converted to orbital energy gradually over a long period of time and then rapidly transferred to the payload. NASA's pair of Martian probes will join the already enroute spacecraft of Japan's Nozomi and the European Space Agency's Mars Express, which includes the Beagle 2 lander. Already in orbit over Mars are NASA's Mars Global Surveyor and Mars Odyssey spacecraft.
This is going to be great. There are going to be a whole bunch of probes and satellites on and orbiting Mars at the same time, its almost like an invasion. This will be very exciting to see during the end of this year and the beginning of the next. I hope it rekindles some of the spirit and opportunity at NASA.
You can't, really, sue Verizon for releasing your information, the post was a crude attempt at a joke.
I don't know, the situation just frustrates me. Seems like the only people not getting involved in the court systems are the ones who really should - the verizon customers. But, I guess they will be soon as this whole situation unravels.
You are right, tasers are considered illegal in many states, while stun guns are legal protection devices in all but the 7 states you named. There is a distinction.
However, this constitutes a wide range of acceptability in the use of stun guns in the US and similarly would imply an acceptability in the use of this jacket as it does not employ the use of a projectile in delivering the electric shock.
From reading the article, it states clearly that the technology used in this jacket is the same used in stun guns and tazers, but more specifically that it has to be carefully activated in specific situations for use.
I'm not saying that someone won't abuse this technology, but tazers and stun guns are widely accepted as legal protection devices in the US.
NRA? These types of non-lethal defense systems are much more appealing than someone carrying a fully loaded gun around.
After reading the article, I again became frustrated after finding that the length of these rover's operational lives seems to be limited only by the amount of dust collecting on its solar cells. These new rovers were supposedly built upon designs and characteristics of the old Sojourner model operated in 1997. Why wouldn't they improve upon this restricted system and incorporate something to prevent the dust from covering its energy supply?
I had heard of this syndrome or trait in the human brain associated with the Indian mathematician Ramanujan. I remember from math history lessons in college that he associated formulas, equations, and even theories into colors and shapes. I think it was a part of his genius for number theory with respect to the mastery of such a way of thinking.
Reading through other posts I found that it is also associated with musical masteries related to perfect pitch and tune. Ramanujan seemed to have the same skill respectively, he just associated with numbers and mathematics instead.
If this skill can be taught or mastered, it seems a host for creative, original thinking for any aspect of science and/or artistic expression and would be wonderful if harnessed.
American Movie should top the underappreciated movie list of all time. The story itself totally encapsulated the theme of underappreciation. It's the funniest movie I've ever seen because I thought it was totally fake and found out it was all too real.
This depressing movie makes you laugh sadly at every echelon to trailer trash and then makes you grateful that such a rescue could occur onscreen within such a comprehensive, formulative film. It saves itself with it's blind and hopeless drive to moderate success.
Co-ven, take 30: "It's alright, its okay, there's something to live for. Jesus tooold me so!"
Transparent Alumina has already been produced in Germany. It is tested at 3 times stronger than hardened steel of the same thickness. It is not actually called 'transparent', it is referred to as a translucent ceramic.

There genius increases?
Oh man, pathetic mistake their.
I wonder what the data would show for women? There genius increases? Maybe its Kanazawa's next project.
Its bad enough being a karma whore, but to pimp yourself out double time is just cruel.
Why is this an article?

That this technology is probably wonderfully applicable and needed now but won't be approved by the FDA for years, years to come.
Maybe they can rig one big enough to throw out the International Space Station.
Droids, the robots were referred to as 'droids'. References to druids would be appropriate for exploring only the UK, not Mars or the Universe.

"Just like the stem cells found in embryos from which all organs arise, the stem cells in baby teeth could be encouraged to grow into...fat cells..."
So is that the genetic engineering term equivalent to chewing the fat?
Does anyone else think the picture of the protoplanetary disk just looks like someone shining a flashlight on a piece of shit? Okay.
