I dunno how long they can keep this going. However, I know for one thing I'm not caught into this preview nearly as much as Pixars past works. This movie seems like the little mermaids friends geared towards 5 year olds. Not that I'm saying that's bad or anything; just seems like a huge change of pace from Pixar.
I can see Cell Phones turning into the same sort of thing that smoking becoming.
Can't smoke on the plane, can't smoke in some restaurants (not that I'm complaining). I think they should establish the same rules, considering joe user isn't curtious enough to NOT talk on the phone at "place public location here".

LCD's are cool.. Yet I'm still stuck with CRTs cause LCD's aren't cool enough. I run dual monitor setup 21+19, and granted it's heavy, but the quality can't be matched on LCD's (to the best of my knowledge).
The only thing I'd really like is to have dual widescreen LCD's, which are just taking off lately (samsung released a 24" Widescreen LCD yet costs something like 5k). If they make a 40" LCD (yes, yes plasma, I mean monitor / highrez), I'm so there.
I figure at least 3 more years till it's totally mainstream.

Ugh. Increadible. Time to move operations to Monaco. Better yet, lets hope "the big one" (earthquake) hits and takes 'em out (a little harsh, but heck).

Actually, I leave on all my HT equipement 24/7 and have yet to have a problem. It's nice that the velodyne sub goes into sleep mode until it recieves any signals. Actually, I do turn off my xbox, cause I actually want to hear the TV.
For years we constantly get calls from charities looking for used clothing, money, and whatnot. This is fine by me, however when you are young (*cough*) you don't really have much to give.
I've put in requests to be taken off the charity lists (because they phone EVERY month). They don't do jack, regardless of how polite or bitchy you are they will continue to call.
Even if I had stuff to donate, I wouldn't donate to anyone on the phone.

I totally agree.. I'm sure we're going to see a bunch of attempts to lock up more and more patents.
I'm just in aw at the things people are trying to patent. I guess that's what America is all about, claim it then charge for it.

Web patents are exteremly lame.
- Amazon 1 click shopping for example (I know this is old news, but gawd damn).
While they're at it they should patent, hovering over "a href" tags, or utilizing bold statements for emphasizing a title.
Trying to place patents on web sites / ecom, is about as effective as pothole fixing in NY.
