I have a lovely abandoned air strip out on my farm in northern Indiana.
My uncles and family friends used it for about 50 years, starting in 1938, but people built a paved one not too far from town. So everybody stwitched. I think, around this little town, there were 6 or 7 air fields. Most are being cultivated, but I think ours and my great uncle's can still function, reflectors and all.
Ok, so the begining looks like "the Giver", then you have a little "Fahrenheit 451" with the bad guy losing his wife, and the burning of contraband...
While I'm definitely going to go see it, how many of the classics of SF am I going to be able to identify while sitting there watching the beautiful action scenes?
Did I miss somethink, or didn't Daniel DIE?(or move on to a better place, or whatever) Last time I checked, he was gone, and resurecting him would have been too much for anyone...
At least someone at NASA had the good taste to hire Kronos. If anyone can recreate those sounds, they can. I wonder when the CD will be avalible for public consumption...
Esth
I can remember the first time I used Tech to get from Sargent to Annenburg...I got so lost I watched a freshmen chem class and their fun first day experiments...lots of boom
THANK YOU! or, for the non-american crowd: 300,000km/sec
the next question is how far in or out can we see? The magnification should increase distance also... who knows what we can see with this...?
