A few years ago a teacher of mine somehow got the dept. to buy him a Smartboard to use in the classroom. Although it is an interesting concept, the front projection is not very usful at all when you are trying to write on the board. However, this was a couple of years ago, and probably a lower end model. But a word of suggestion to stay away from front projection.
But none of my friends use anything but AIM so I can really only get use out of the AIM protocol. I would like to at least try out some of the others, but that would mean trying to switch over my friends who are not easily persuaded. Mostly all the people I chat with are friends from school. I just graduated High School, so maybe AIM has been our generation more than any other IM?
GAIM suits me best though because of its lack of ads without using an AOL client hack, and the simplistic options such as turning off colors in messages.
...that similar to the Xbox, which I hear is a sort of initial version of the Palladium/hardware security that we will be seeing... What will happen if this huge target does get cracked? Would it make it even more vulnerable than a target that is expected to be broken into every once in a while?
Most cases are durable enough. Since we are in an age of plastics and aluminum, we shouldnt be afraid of our cases crumbling apart. I'm not sure why you guys whould need handles on your computer. I personally mock the Mac's with handles i.e. the iMac with a handle across the top, or the towers with obnoxious handels. When you are moving your computer, which shouldn't be much, do you really need handles planned into the design? To me the shuttle cases are looking good except for the heat issue (assuming you arn't playing with the insides all the time). But Mac has nothing special at a high cost.
These exculsive screens even show that it can handle mp3 playback and timezone changing at the same time. What next, reading email while doing graphic design?
To me it seemed as though the article didnt really have much to say. Or rather, I didnt get much out of the article besides reading about all of the stuff I already know; that AI exists and that it is advancing. I wish it would have been something more in depth about the future of AI and computers taking over the world!

Nice try but the site really doesn't show anything which does any good.

Its funny about this prediction. This lady with 3 nipples told me the same thing!
Did you just say Canadian Internet Radio?

They dont put more effort into works mostly because it sucks. That and because it is very free.
It beats the cheesy Works Suite that people end up using because it bundles with their OEM PC.
So you can fight and die for your country, but your not allowed to buy a beer. You can hardly tell me that this is sensible.
