The over all point of the original post was that we will never find life on another planet because we will never leave the solar system. I will now explain why he is wrong.
People do not realize how advanced our technology really is. If we pulled together all our technology from all areas, and tossed some untried technology but technology that we are reasonably sure will work we could launch a interstellar ship that could reach our nearest star in 40 years. The untried technology that I'm thinking about is the Orion space drive that could theoretically reach 10% the speed of light.
If we look at theoretical technology that exists only on paper but we are reasonably sure will work with some work, we could launch ships to every star with in say, 20 light years in a few decades. I'm thinking of fusion drives where we could potentially reach 20% the speed of light.
It is not technology that restricts us to earth and our star system, it's economics. Launching any such star ship would probably bankrupt the world economy but that will not always be the case.
But they are not entitled to a job after college. Nobody is entitled to a job right after college. Not my generation, not their generation, not any generation.

This is truth and so many people don't realize it. The state of the world economy is tied to U.S. economy. If the U.S. economy goes south we take the rest of the world with it.
I expect this will not always be true with China's rising economy, but it currently is.

Yes, the current crop of millennial's is the most entitled generation in a long time. They are not the only people affected by the economic down turn so that doesn't wash. Lots of people of all ages are working for little pay and no benefits. But millenials seem to be the least prepared for real life. The riots after the Trump election are the a good example. They lost a election so instead of preparing for the next one, they complained and moaned. For god sake there are millennials that can't even balance a check book or keep a budget.
Depending on who runs the numbers under Obama the national deficit rose by 7 to 10 trillion dollars. Almost doubling or doubling, again on who runs the numbers, off all presidents before him combine. That alone is a disaster.

The 767 and the 777, I believe, have emergency exit doors above the wings. I see no reason these doors can't keep their windows to serve this function.
I loved the 767. Plenty of room in the over head bins. You know if you need to hide body of the little snot behind you who keeps kicking your seat. Not that I did that but I did want to keep that option open.
As someone who has been on more commercial flights than I care to count I'm all for removing windows. After you get above a certain altitude there really isn't anything to look at any way. I always preferred a isle seat anyway. I found it much more convenient to be able to get up and go take a piss with out having to trip over bubba on the way out.
For the record, I no longer fly commercial. I refuse to be packed into a can like a cow and have to sit that in a seat designed by a bean counter for the next few hours with the guy behind me shoes up my ass. Nope, trains are the way to go.
