Shouldn't we also be concerned if games based on the new Iraq War (http://www.operation-iraqi-freedom.us/) are accurate as well? (doesn't look like this game is accurate)
As computers are becoming more and more powerful, we can demand more from them. Do you not think this is more of a negative step? I can understand using this for older machines, but not new. Starting X11 shouldn't take very long on most computers (about 10 seconds on my Athlon XP 1700+)
Just my two cents.
This is a very welcome change. I don't know about other Colleges, but mine is "in bed" with Microsoft. Wherever you go on campus, you see Microsoft ads for products with educational discounts. Hopefully more Colleges will follow suit.
I am glad to see that AMD is responding to Centrino. I heard a rumour going around that AMD was getting out of the PC x86 Chip market. Being an AMD fan, I'm glad to see this is not true!
Secondly, you can't assume what people are thinking. It rather is most likely a different sense of humour. If you find it offensive, don't view it, you have the right.
I can't wait for video cards to jump up over $750 USD:)
But seriously now, I wonder if people 20 years down the road will come play games like Quake III with their highly advanced computers, much like people still play Pong and Space Invaders.
I have a 15GB Fujitsu drive that fails all the time. Bad sectors are a common thing on this drive as well as every time it boots Linux, having a hard drive related problem.
