Below is, among other things, fairly cool youtube, probably for home viewing ONLY vs. work, unless you REALLY want to get escorted out the door at work!!;-)
There is more/similar in the various links. Since once would guess that many/most slashdot readers have seen LOTR at least once, or perhaps even READ the originals (TFOTR, TTT, ROTK, H, S, etc.) they will hopefully get the song (new) and the (video) editing combine with a frission that inspires.

So. Curious am I to visit their (HDMI.org's) site. I go there (Firefox v1.5.0.1). I select "Consumer", then FAQ. FAQ refers me to the "list of HDMI Adopters". I go there. As mentioned, there is a login IDandpassword which are obviously, required. I goto the comments site http://www.hdmi.org/contact/index.asp to request info on how to obtain a userid and password (filled in ALL of the blanks). Hit send, get error:
"The server rejected one or more recipient addresses. The server response was: 550 unknown user (contact@hdmi.org)".
Clever am I to notice that the pages are.asp... okay.... I (shuddering with self loathing) use... MSIE . Same error;-) I notice that this is the same page that you are directed to when you select "Contact".
Checking further (with directory assistance) there is no listing for a phone contact for HDMI.org in beautiful Sunnyvale, CA....
Okay, so maybe their server is being slashdotted(dededed), so I try DIRECTLY emailing those shy fellows and get (drum roll please):

(my) synopsis: IB programmes are a STANDARDS based honors curricula, designed to enable succussful candidates to enter ANY major university in the world; IB also enables a person to leave the programme in one part of the world, and pick up where theyleft off in another (country, school, etc.)- strongly suggest your friend pursue her ("High School") education through ANY school that offers an accredited IB programme - US, Egypt, where-ever...
Now if only SHE could post on slashdot... or at least listen to NPR...
