This is one of the places perfection is possible, even easy. There are many methods for avoiding SQL injections, so choose a method and stick with it. Don't let this happen to you, be perfect.
Note that this is a company that regularly performs security audits, with red-teaming and blue-teaming.
I've said it before, but security can't be bolted on afterwards by a "security team." Every programmer needs to have security at the front of their mind.
The worst Splash Text I've seen there is one that proudly declared, "Open Source!" Considering the history behind it, I nearly reached through the screen and stabbed Microsoft.
The only ones who really matter in the web consortium are the browser makers. They are like the UN security council: yeah, there are other countries in the UN, but they don't really matter.
There's been strong evidence since at least ~2001 that neurons can be grown in adult humans. If you felt it was settled science, you haven't been paying attention.
FWIW, I've always regretted that Objective C didn't have a better Linux support community,
Agreed, it was a great language.
The noisiest complaint people had of Objective C is that it had all the baggage of C. But then swift has all the baggage of Objective C and C, but without the elegance of Smalltalk. Oh well.
Oh yeah? So when your C# server crashes because it ran out of RAM, you're going to say, "it's not as bad because.......Actually it's just as bad." C programs don't actually lose reference to the memory that was allocated, although your particular code might. There's no getting around the need to think of memory.
Assembly written by Bill Atkinson is better than (pick your language) written by a lousy programmer. I think you must not have looked at very much good code.
The C# (or Java or JavaScript) programmer who doesn't understand memory management has memory leaks all over his (or her) code (or they are not writing anything substantial).
The right wing Dems were counting on this to shut Trump down so they could put Biden or Beto in office. The effect would have been the same as Trump without the pointless trade wars. It'll be harder to do that now. Hopefully that means we get a populist like Bernie or Warren who will make actual, positive changes.
Humanity is only good at one thing
Yeah, I got you bro!
and that is turning anything and everything into a weapon.
Oh, I thought you were going to say porn. <ahem>

Sounds like the words of a tree killer, to me.

The only reason they can target swing states is because people in the other states are reliably owned by one party or the other.
Paper ballots are the center of democracy but the real problem is the electoral college which is not democracy.
If the vote count is so close that the electoral college makes a difference, then the problem isn't the electoral college.
But if these vendors can't even patch their systems, I don't trust them to implement an auditable system that guarantees
If it needs patches then it doesn't guarantee anything.
Space junk.
I rolled my eyes this morning thinking you were being a little melodramatic, but here I am now trying to get an xcode project working.
There's been strong evidence since at least ~2001 that neurons can be grown in adult humans. If you felt it was settled science, you haven't been paying attention.
He and Bill Clinton would get along together well
He and Bill did get along together well.
How is this forced? You could keep using the current version of Xcode for quite a while.
No haha. Trying to remain on older versions of Apple software is a pain and not supported scenario. After a few OS upgrades, it won't work at all.

Good programmers write good code in every language. A bad programmer writes bad code in all of them.
"Probe finds no proof of Trump campaign collusion with Russia, no conclusion on obstruction: Barr letter"
You will be surprised when Trump declares complete victory then.
Not really, he would have declared that, even if he were in handcuffs going to jail for life.

Interesting analysis.
Attempting to charge the President in this case would almost certainly go to the Supreme Court and create a bit of a constitutional crisis
It's not really a crisis, it's a detail that would need to be decided, and following procedure the supreme court would decide it.
Except Python isn't strongly typed, it uses duck typing.
Oh, she can remain as a mistress.
