The problem you are describing is very real with most bikers. And is easy to explain way it happends.
Imagine you are on a bike. And you are stuck in the freeway (this happends in California/Silicon Valley) every day several times a day). And you can see a clear path to freedom (or to heaven). Is near to imposible to NOT take your chances and drive in between.
Most bikers will drive in between cars. But you have to understand is dangerous and there are acouple of things a biker can do to make things a little safer:
- Only drive in between cars if they are at a or close to a complete stop. Do not drive in between cars were there is not enouch space for the bike and you. Do not drive at more than 35 mph. The las point is realy important since it reduces the chances of injury and gives god time to move and control the situation.
Un fortunately there are lot's of bikers that do drive at 65mph in between cars and I have done that while following a fellow and is dangerous as hell.
"3) PVR will become a standard feature for most television users but become as unbranded as programmable VCRs."
Even on that case You will still need a central company that creates and broadcasts the service and indexing to all the PVR's enabled systems...
That company will be most likely TiVo: Since tivo: Only makes money fro the service not from the hardware, unlike other PVR's.
Rememver TiVo is a service provider that can modify it's target market if the environment changes.
