    Civilian manufacturing maybe. But that's up to business owners to make those decisions, not politicians. Blame business owners. They could build it locally for more (or the same cost with less profit) and support local economies. I'm not trying to offend anyone and of course i'm simplifying it.. but that is how it looks to me.

    That $50 is including the 100 channels. http://timewarnercablespecial.com/internet.html says that internet is normally 35$ without any deals. It's even less with a deal.

    If there isn't a map legend/compass, the top of the map is north and bottom of the map is south.

    Thanks for that. I took from your explanation that you believe FTL can make you travel back in time. Or should i say the appearance of traveling back in time? Also, there's no reason to be a dick about my understanding of physics.

    light-year is a distance. Just because a local year changes doesn't mean a light-year gets shorter.

    But isn't that about the same as mailing a letter to your neighbor that says you'll be headed over to their house. Then you walk over to their house. Three days later the letter arrives explaining that you are about to come over.

    I think it's more targeted. Noncommerical is targeted to end-users, not targeted at an organization to repackage and then sell to end-users. If someone wants to sell it, they have to ask the copyright owner. A lot of software is the same and gets around this problem by selling support for the "free" software.

    Valve has shown pictures of l4d2 running on Linux. But i doubt they will be ready soon.

    But if you are going by glycemic index then raisins, white rice, watermelon, potatoes, and popcorn are equally as bad as white bread. Apples are only 1/3 less on the index. Breads appear to have a quarter to half as much fiber as an Apple. I don't think anyone is debating that fiber isn't important to your diet. It is. But not eating bread because it doesn't have as much fiber as an apple is way out there. Called bread a foam sugar is putting your head in the sand when it comes to other foods with similar glycemic and fiber content.
