    The party affiliation 10 years ago is not relevant. The issue is that, whoever is in power, the federal government is abusive of said power.

    It appears to me that this will be de facto permitted by Verizon, despite what is on paper, because if they attempt to penalize one of their resellers the whistle will be blown.

    For a while? I'm pretty sure it's still there! Just like the federal excise tax, which didn't go away entirely (apparently it's really the federal excuse tax, as in there are a few excuses for keeping it). Obama already proposed a new tax on cell phones just a month ago to subsidize high-speed internet in public schools. So trust me, there will be no relief for the consumer or the taxpayer.

    No. You can have enemies without being at war with them. See: USSR and North Korea (although that's technically a cease-fire). There's nothing corrupt as long as we say who are enemies actually are.

    He was just the typewriter equivalent of the Onion "man always telling everyone he doesn't own a TV". If you don't know what computers are because you chose to live among apes for the last 50 years, that's a different story. I don't know why some people are stubbornly proud of things that aren't worth being proud of, but they are. But hey, no one could say he wasn't a hard worker, at least.

    Um... GS did nothing except make the economy even more a tool of the ruling elite. We still had years of depression, including a double-dip recession WITHIN THE DEPRESSION in 1937. The recessions of the decades following GS were really no different than those in the 19th century... except now, Keynesians decided that, in response to a recession, you should load up on government debt instead of doing the opposite as was done to quickly alleviate a downturn in 1920.

    I didn't know Teslas had unlimited range. You see, sometimes people want to drive a few hundred miles somewhere, and you can't just pull up to a laundromat and ask to borrow the dryer receptacle.
