"Periodically, the tree of Liberty must be refreshed with the blood of patriots and tyrants." So is Thomas Jefferson a terrorist now? If the BATF is coming to disarm you, they are acting against natural human rights and the Constitution.
Note also that only Peter out of the Apostles wanted an organized Church with central power.

I don't care if your Atheist, Christian, Muslim, Buddhist, or whatever. Everyone can appreciate what Jesus Christ allegedly came down to Earth to teach:
Everyone love each other, and care for each other.
Lev 19:18 "Do not seek revenge or bear a grudge against one of your people, but love your neighbor as yourself. I am the LORD."
Matt 22:36 "Teacher, which is the greatest commandment in the Law?" Jesus replied: " 'Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind.' This is the first and greatest commandment. And the second is like it: 'Love your neighbor as yourself.' All the Law and the Prophets hang on these two commandments."
The world would be a *far* better place if they did that rather than kill each other over how he said it or kill each other because some paragraph could possibly be twisted into saying "homosexuals must die" or something.
Lev 20:13 "If a man lies with a man as one lies with a woman, both of them have done what is detestable. They must be put to death; their blood will be on their own heads."
The idea of capital punishment for homosexuality is definitely subject to debate considering what Jesus said about the coming Kingdom, but no "twisting" of the text is required.
I'm just reproducing the text; no flames please. In the USA, we're still allowed (for now) to post excerpts from the Bible without being prosecuted for committing thought crimes... er, I mean hate crimes.
Do any of these questions have anything to do with being a government official? If you're really concerned about any of these candidates allowing religious dogma to influence their decisions, that would be a single question. Loaded questions like these are disrespectful and counterproductive.
I'm not a Ford fan, but they do sell compact cars like the Focus and small SUVs like the Escape. Here's a hint: www.ford.com. Here's another hint: stop being an insufferably smug, haughty bastard.
Thanks for your anecdote. Here's mine: that's not the case in my town. But you may have seen more than you are used to because lower-income people are more able to own automobiles in the USA than in Europe because our gas is much cheaper than yours. Meanwhile, things like engine tuning and tires are still expensive.
Unless you have some sort of analog computer of which I am unaware, that waveform exists in memory as a digital representation. There would only be analog involved if, for some reason, you couldn't decode the WMA and had to play it back through the line-out of your sound card to another recording device.
I don't respect Gore. He did nothing other than dissemble, get fat, use a lot of power like other rich folk, then tell everyone else to conserve while he buys carbon credits for his sprawling, gluttonous compound. He was rewarded with a Nobel peace prize for this; which is telling of how global warming/climate change is a political movement, not an ecological one.
Your post reads like a boring leftist's car bumper. By the way, it's 2008, and Kentucky has had many non-whites in prestigious positions in government and business. It's notable that they were neutral in the Civil War, if you're really interested in history.
I imagine having the UN "run" ICANN would be messy. If this had been done a few years ago when the Europeans were crying for it, Kojo Annan would probably have control of Google.com and Yahoo.com.
You have a problem in your argument... Taking money through taxes is not stealing. You might not like it, and you may not agree with it, but it isn't illegal.
Just because it isn't illegal doesn't mean it's not wrong.
Also, taxes aren't a bad thing. They pay for all sorts of things like roads, emergency services, weather radars and a bunch of other things that you don't think are important - until you don't have them.
His argument wasn't that taxation was wrong, but that misappropriation of funds is wrong. You're attacking a straw man. So was his example, but it was just an example. Replace "cars" with "universal health care", "mortgage bailouts", or "for the children" and you'll get the idea.
There is no such thing as a decent UNIX shell. By decent, I mean without cryptic 2-4 letter commands that blissfully perform destructive commands even when given ambiguous input.
I find it amusing that leftists think Palin is a hotter version of Dick Cheney. Frankly, thinking Cheney is evil is already hilarious, until I remember that you all get your "news" from the Daily Kos.

That bill had unrelated bullcrap attached to it, as usual.
Straw man. "Allow" and "encourage" are not the same thing.

Marxist societies like China and Cuba control the population quite well without religion.
Joe Biden and Harry Reid are only slightly younger than dirt (born in 1942 and 1939).
You're likely to see Joe Biden nearby, as he is only 6 years younger than McCain.

You fail at trolling.
How could someone be a "moderate conservative"? She's a moderate.

In what context? Obviously, in some discussions, being written in the Bible could be either evidence or simply the basis for a belief.
Mmmm... right wine. Much tastier than left whine.

My Windows 2000 server looks like this:
Microsoft Windows 2000 [Version 5.00.2195]
(C) Copyright 1985-2000 Microsoft Corp.
Neither it nor XP EVER responded "Windows NT". Ever.
Mmmmm.... won ton. Much better than egg drop.
