    Unless you're crying "no blood for opium" in the case of Afghanistan, that's clearly NOT the case of a "sovereign nation" (it was rules by multiple warlords) that is "chock full of resources".

    Michigan was protected nicely by warm air coming off Lake Michigan; it was more than 10F colder in Indiana than it was in Michigan this morning.

    Guess you never hit anything! If someone or something is in the road, I'd love an extra half-second to react. What I don't understand are white "fog lights". Yellow is better in fog. And you can't find yellow lamps to replace to factory white except through mail order! I think people are just going for looks, not practicality.

    Agreed-- with the January average HIGH in Detroit being at the freezing point, not having a 24 hour stretch below freezing is mathematically unlikely. Plus, I was just there a month ago and I don't remember it going above freezing during one day of that trip.

    In southeast PA, we already had temps lower a few days ago (4 F) than the ones claimed for us during this "perfect frost" (8 F).

    Service pack support is ending in 2 years... that is, the level of the original release. Mainstream support doesn't end until 2018.

    I honestly don't understand you. What kind of twisted straw man have you set up here? Nearly everyone you're talking to here doesn't think any of those activities should be monitored. And neither should you!

    FWIW, this is yet another incident that spotlights the illogical behavior and radical policies of PETA that do little to help animals. In fact, these drones are just as likely to disturb the wildlife. Or does PETA think drones are part of the natural ecosystem?

    Virtually all Christians consider those works inspired-- that's why they're compiled in the Bible. This is an historical fact. Besides, Jesus also said similar things about taxes and government authority.
