it's not interesting, he was fired because he broke the rules, and Microsoft develop software for the mac, so it's not entirely out of the realms of possability that they would have macs..... Not everything is a conspiracy.
Just a question what are average american prices on magazines? I mean if a specialty magazine is insanely priced at around $15 in japan I wonder what australian prices are considered... I payed $24.95 for a linux mag in a news agent the other day and mac magazines are more expensive still...
It is true about the 80% payout in Australia, but at least in Queensland that is only the minimum payout, but you average proprietor is doesn't really raise them, although some places advertise higher ratio's. Although back to the article, Am I the only one that doesn't really see what the problem is with this is? Are they actually complaining that it's a predetermined chance of winning and the rolling numbers are just an animation? If they arguing for more regulation of the gaming industry then I'm in favour but other than that it seems like they haven't grasped the idea of the pokies...sorry if this is rambling or I missed the point of the article it's early and I'm missing caffiene...
if you read the article that you linked to you would see that it wasn't removed because it was critical rather because it contained copyrighted material, under the DCMA google would have been liable if they hadn't promptly removed it, hardly google's fault, hardly defacto cencorship infact when I checked as I wrote this a google search for "scientology" returned clambake as the 3rd site so in short yes I do think you are paranoid.
Your a very very strange person jason, I'm pretty much about as neutral as you can get in regards to this whole war, but statements like this one infuriate me.
"when all is said and done we probably won't even get a thank you card"

I had this problem too, and it's not software it's hardware, I had to go through a replacement battery and then another -> the second was free cause it lasted 2 days, but it's been just peachy since then, I have a G3 400 pismo powerbook
I use KDE, nmapfe ethereal dopewars:P freeciv a lot of KDE games (to kill time - Apple's GNU chess program humiliates me far to easily) and countless other X programs....
Several computer makers now bake draft-n adapters into their laptops as an option .......I'm waiting for the brownie option myself
