Shutup. You could not possibly know what you are talking about. Do you even understand the fundamental principle of the human minds ability to associate known items of relevance with the current usage of a certian relevant product? AKA...if you knew the differences between the two items of your claimed open-source moral dilemma, you would not have opened your brain to make this comment.
For those of you who dont want to read that, I said something about open-source and spoke intelligently. Mod me up bitches.
Or Microsoft will stop trying to control the content available to the target audience?
Ok, doesnt really make sense, but consider this. How many people want software deciding what is important to see and what is not? During WWII, if the ENIAC decided whether I was to recieve medical treatment on the battlefield over some other person, I would be quite pissed...even if I was chosen to recieve treatment.
Basically, I view this as another method of limiting something we are already freely available to do, based on our own will. Even if it is an opt-in thing, people will opt-in...and before you know it we will be a few drones watching only what companies want us to. Sound like Harrison Bergeron to me.
Dont get me wrong, this is a very cool technology, and I completely support the development of it. I just dont like the niche it is meant to fill. AKA, Media censoring.
Wait a second...did they say less political speech times? Holy crap! Less Bush! Where do I sign up!?!..........See my point?
Peppercoin 2.0 has reduced the transaction expense to less than 10 cents, Solomon said.
The reason they can do this is not because of their system, its because they are in near full compliance with the credit card companies security policies. The per transaction rate for a credit card purchase isnt just a set in stone fee for each merchant, it is determined by the merchants compliance with the policies set forth by the credit card companies themselves.
Basically, in being in full compliance with the regulations, the per transaction fee can basically be cut to such low levels. Peppercoin itself is just a transaction house that sits in between the merchant and the bank. What they are providing is just a system that allows full or near full compliance, so therefore the transaction fees are next to nothing. For example, the company Shift4 Inc Is a processor that forces competition between banks for fees, and enables customers to sustain a transaction rate at about $.06 plus 2-10% per authorization. They can do this because they are fully compliant with all security procedures/systems the CC companies require, and each of their merchants are as well.
If you want more information about how this works, or you will be attending defcon...check out my partner and I's talk this year. Info can be found at hackajar.com
This is definitely not the best option, but could most likely be the cheapest. Using the Linksys WRT54G routers, and the new firmware we have been raving about, place on on each floor. As for putting it in the shaft, that may not be a good option as the signal could die very easily in there. You would be better off placing them In an area where everyone can see them.
Now, in each room you could have the person buy a high gain antenna, or have them build their own cantenna and just shoot towards the AP along the ceiling to avoid pissing people off with radiation going through their minds.
In a small building like this...that situation should work very well.
Astoundingly, the 'hot poll' associated with this story has (as this is being posted) 28% of respondents saying they would trust their vote on the internet and 41% saying 'not now, but maybe soon.' Feel free to cast your vote.
So what, your telling to vote on the internet to tell them that I dont want to vote on the internet? Quite astounding indeed...
The other drawback I see, however, is the ATA. I would perfer a better way to incorporate it into the existing phone wiring, but no good. I've since purhcased a dual handset cordless phone, and no problems since, going forward, it'll be easy to take with me whereever I go. Just get the broadband access connection, and walla.
I also have Vonage, and I managed to find a way around this.
I simply ran a telephone cable to the outside wiring of my house, where the telco's line would normally plug in. With a little cable stripping, I was able to remove the telcos line and splice the line from the ATA right on there.
Voila! Vonage is now integrated into the normal wiring of my house. I love it, its great!
Anyone living in Nevada has recently seen the budget problems our state is having in the education field. Instead of giving teachers the boot though, they simply cut off middle school sports, many busses, as well as some other things. We are still deficient.
I goto a school which has a computer for nearly every student, and we are the best school in the district. Hell, if anyone is going to look at the "negative" benefits of computers in the classroom, look a the positives first. IT sure has done wonders for us...
They were actually refering to the music industries business model, about how they are currently un-willing to make a profit off internet based content distribution. Dont even think about mentioning itunes or any other program, this is not the recording industry as a whole.
He was NOT wardriving. To quote blackwave: wardriving v. The benign act of locating and logging wireless access points while in motion.
All this is is bad press for the wardriving community. Wardrivers do not participate in theft of service. The media is once again associating the term wardriving with theft of service when in reality they have absolutely nothing to do with each other.

having demonstrated a legitimate right to that
information to a bona-fide judge...
I have been toying with this idea for a little while. I want to get someone to download a copyrighted file of mine, without my permission, and then try to get a DMCA subpeona against you. It would be an experiment to see how easy it would really be. Im building the website now, and looking for volunteers er, "defendants".

No shit, its not meant to be realistic...its a fucking metaphor

Will it work on my penis?
