It's hard to do that with unknown and unestimable probabalities. It's really really really unlikely that we're going to be hit by an asteroid in the next ten years, and it will be really really really expensive to deal with. On the other hand, a massive pacific basin tidal was is merely really unlikely and will be only really expensive to deal with.
Umm, yeah. And maybe the super duper computer will make sure that you fill up the gas tanks before you leave and keep the engine from malfunctioning.

This is a good machine for someone who is intimidated by a tangle of wires and lots of choices for peripherals. I think that it falls somewhere between the new Imac and the old one in terms of mass appeal. The widescreen format is a nice touch, too. Shame it's so pricey. Anyone know who's manufacturing it?
