Apple has proprietary hardware AND software. They've been taking/diverting/stealing from OSS community and its developers. Apple even used the OSS name/reputation to sell OS X! Apple is bad. The only advantage that Apple has are all the 'religious' followers and fans...that I hope soon will get back to their senses and realize how much Apple sucks.
Over the last year or so I've seen Apple taking more from the OSS than giving back.
Taking developers, using OSS good name as advertising motto (OSX: 'Based on Unix')...etc.
Somehow I'm not surprised that all this comes from the company that has proprietary OS _and_ proprietary Hardware.
I've unsubscrubed after the 'must-have-gear of year 2001' suggested $100 screwdriver (with lifetime warranty!). I wonder how much they got paid (the MaxBS magazine) to say that.

I guess that explains the card that takes up two slots (as pictured on the review site).
Apple is not so different from Microsoft after all...its just a question of time till (some) people get it.
