Look at what happened to Iraq when they bluffed and postured about (still) having a nuclear program, refused access to inspectors, that sort of thing.

You mean the Iraq where the weapon inspectors said 'no, Iraq doesn't have WMDs' but Colin Powell said 'Iraq does so have WMDs, I have pictures of these kebab vans, sorry, chemical weapons vans' and... uh... they didn't?

BTW, didn't the claims of Iraqui WMDs come from an Iranian agent because Iran wanted Bush to invade and get rid of Saddam Hussein and put their friends in power?

I have one XP system in .NET Hell, and I've even downloaded the 'remove every trace of this .NET crap' tool from Microsoft and tried that. In fact the Argentine Exocets sank exactly one British warship, HMS Sheffield. They also damaged three other ships (and admittedly scared the hell out of everyone).

By far the most significant use of an Exocet was when they hit the Atlantic Conveyor, which was being used as a temporary aircraft carrier (since Harriers and helicopters can happily operate from a container ship). If I remember correctly, the British lost most of their troop-carrying helicopters in that attack.

The main reasons why they didn't achieve more than that was because they didn't have many missiles and the British fleet stayed on the edge of the area that the Argentinian aircraft could reach, which meant their Harriers couldn't operate over the Falklands for long before having to return to refuel. So while the Exocets didn't sink many warships, they certainly had a significant impact on the war.
