Then why weren't these "big contributors" purchasing advertising spots to run with Enterprise? That would make more sense. It's all about money to the network execs anyway... Show gets lots of advertiser interest, show stays on air. Show doesn't get advertisers, show goes away.
Yes, but according to the movie Swordfish, you have to have a T1 to connect to 7 networks simultaneously. With this, you'd have to have two T1s, according to that fucked up logic...:)
Correction: You were using "resolution" to refer to the signal intensity.
However, signal intensity does not indicate frequency response. While you have more control over signal intensity with a CD, you can record a higher frequency onto vinyl.
Not to say that you cannot record higher frequencies digitally, but with the 44 Khz sample rate standard used by CDs, you are pretty much stuck at a max frequency of 22 KHz. 44 KHz sample divided by two channels.
To those of you just getting ready to view this thread for the first time, prepare yourself for an insane amount of posts from this daveschroeder guy basically stating the same thing over and over to the point of intense boredom to us curse to read it over and over.
The funniest part is where he starts posting anonymously because the Slashcode itself basically tells him to stop it by saying he's exceeded his allowed number of posts already.
Just thought I'd prepare you, and repost a post I made later on in this topic that asks him in a rather pleasant manner to please STFU...
-snip-
Um, Dave? Like SHUT THE FUCK UP (!!!!!) already, you are very boring, redundant, and don't seem to have anything intelligent to say in the first place.
Continuously you are restating your tenuous "counter-argument" about something to do with how the guy may or may not have been able to get on a plane at a different airport, but stealing away from the ACTUAL TOPIC of "Just why are they asking for ID at nearly all airports, and by the way, how come we cannot take a look at this law requiring showing of ID?"
Find something better to do, sleep, masturbate, smoke pot, anything. Just get off this topic already, you are way past the point of being extremely rude in terms of netiquette.
And even worse;) I am sick of listening to you argue against a point that you apparently didn't fully understand in the first place, so each one of your posts we are reading with the same "Oh, this dummy blabbering shit again" thought followed by "when will this guy STFU already?"
Does the freedom to speak also include the freedom to constantly speak with nothing intelligent to say? Like a gibbering retard standing on a wooden box downtown with a megaphone.

Not true. Although there is much less distortion with CDs, a vinyl album will reproduce higher frequencies than CD, which cuts out around 22 KHz, which they say is above human hearing. Except for people with asthma, who top out around 30 KHz. Not sure what the deal is with Asthma giving you better hearing.
dB refers to (think of it as signal strength or just loudness), rather than resolution.
You are sure sounding like a religious extremist. If you want to step outside, that's fine with me, you punk-ass bitch.
Judges are SUPPOSED to make interpretations of law. That is their whole purpose. The creation of law is left to the Legislative branch. It's part of the good old checks and balance system. Maybe you don't understand, or maybe you are just mis-using terminology. If you do not think that judges are supposed to interpret what the wording of a law means, then what exactly do you think they are supposed to be doing?
Typically, people who do not grasp this have been brainwashed by their churches, or have listened to way too much Rush. (The fat guy, not the rock band)
Sounds like a great place for a caching proxy! One download across the Internet, then it's local for all the rest.
How does Automatic Updates schedule its updates? It seems logical that it would stagger them randomly rather than having every Windows XP machine in the world (per time zone) suddenly requesting the same update from them. Talk about something worse than a slashdot attack!
As a former smoker, I still gotta say that taxing an addictive substance is one of the most unethical things I have ever heard of. Make it illegal, or make no taxes on it. Or tax it for supporting health programs for people who do smoke.
But no, they spend the money to build sports complexes, and then won't let the smokers who paid for it smoke cigarettes in their. It's all fucked up.
Didn't SCO invent MS-DOS? :)
Yay, the beginning of a new famous net word like TEH. :)
Beavis & Butthead made tremendous mistakes? What, the Fire thing, or cutting off a grasshoppers head with a chainsaw?

Microsoft took out a patent on a bad Phil Collins song? Why?
Oops, wrong Rico/Rica...
Don't worry - I was thinking the same at first "HTF is a US Territory going to ban VOIP??"

Way to spout the party line there, clone!
I guess it's nice to know that these sheeple are not just confined to the US, the EU has the same problem with idiots.
Best wishes,

Backtracking now? You were using the term "resolution" to refer to the frequency response of CDs, not signal strength.
Never said anything about vinyl getting (or not getting) worse over time. It does, so what?

You were? Didn't catch that at all...
What, you haven't learned the trick of getting a low user ID number? Jeez... ;)
Me either! :)

Math people suck... :)
Same here with RealPlayer 10.0.2 Gold for Linux, will be watching this thread to see if anyone else figures it out.
Somebody clue us in!
But then became refreshingly cool again during the last few seconds of Matrix III when the black cat made its re-appearance.
Watch all of Matrix I, skip Matrix II, then watch only the last 5 minutes of Matrix III, and it's almost like there was a cool sequel...

Yes, I know, I am a registered Libertarian.
Just saying that it looked like you were bitching about the other parties, but bringing no good ideas to offset them.
Yah yah, tell us why your party is so good instead of being lame and trashing on the other...

The inmates are running the asylum.
Wow, look Mr Smart Fucker - look at the bottom of my post, it says (yes indeed):
"-- From "When Will Jesus Bring The Pork Chops?" (George Carlin, 2004)"
So you've told us nothing either, dumbass. I accredited my source, WTF is your problem you little dweeb?
