Hey, Tulip cards and RealTek 81xxs are exactly what I'm running, and I've had no problems with my network, not even under linux. Scyld has done an excellent job implimenting them, and the hardware isn't total crap. It functions perfectly if you know what the hell you are doing with them.
rockets are older than linux. therefore, i would be very suprised. especially since rockets are older than personal computers. yep, making it hard to intsall linux where no comp is present. I'm guessing their own private firmware. yeah, that sounds good.

Better yet, why are the rents not putting some sort of parental controls on the internet connection? Or hey, maybe the kids are getting that spam cuz they keep filling in those "Get free porn in your mailbox" things. you know how long I've been working on my three dimensional one? over a year. Perhaps I'm stupid, but that thing is impossible to solve. Anyone have any clue how long it would take a computer to solve your standard rubics cube through brute force?
