I've read quite a few books digitally, not on my computer, but reading off a PDA really isn't that bad. These all happened to be things that are freely available (Project Gutenburg and the like), but I could see people using it with things off Google Print if a way was found to download them. However, I highly doubt it'd be enough people to worry about.
I think you are incorrect here. My MAME-derivative is hosted on SourceForge. It is using MAME's horrible license, but was still approved, and I know that MAME's license is not OSI-approved.

It seems that these guys have already made a handheld playstation, even calling it the PSp. If my memory serves me correctly, they were even selling them until Sony made them stop. I'm glad major corporations are fully capable of having orignial ideas.

There already is a NES emulator for the Dreamcast. A damned good one too. It's called NesterDC and you can find it at dcemulation.com
