    Exactly- Bezos doesn't really want to settle for only running the world's biggest retail department store, he wants control of the government. So where better to put the Palace of Bezos than in a place where he can directly offer "campaign contributions" to the nation's leadership?

    Actually, no I don't. I'm pro-life- *CONSISTENT* pro-life. And my views have evolved since I chose this handle. I certainly would not want anybody "culled".

    In fact, in keeping with everything else I said- I want people to breed. Maximum genetic diversity is good for the species, because what we determine to be "defective" is flawed.

    Of course, my son's "accomplishments" are things like actually finally getting rid of pullups at age 15......

    The religions don't fail because they have survival value, regardless of how you personally feel about them.

    If the COCs succeed, it will be because they have survival value. If they fail, it will be because they lacked survival value.

    Your emotions are completely unimportant in this scheme.

  19. Stephen Hawking, the guy who wrote the book that this entire discussion was on, was putting his opinion forth as a proof that God doesn't exist.

    This entire discussion was because I pointed out that his definition of natural law effectively was just a string replacement for the concept of God.

    So yes, some atheists DO argue that God doesn't exist, and the "strawman" that I'm bashing was in the original book for this article.

    I find that when I figure my hourly rate as a 1099 after doing all of that, I fall below minimum wage.
