And in other WoW related news. Blizzard Entertainment announced that they have identified a major issue with the game which they now believe was the major source of the lag which has plagued the game since beta.
In a press release, a Blizzard spokesman stated that "We have banned a number of accounts, which were in violation of the World of Warcraft AUP and TOS. The removal of these accounts, most of which originated from outside the U.S.A., should free up bandwidth and other server resources for all of our players."
WoW Fansites around the internet began to report that server stability had increased 110% and lag was barely noticeable.

Personally, I hope they do ban everyone of those idiots.
Everyone is getting it wrong. lol You've forgotten that you also have to buy Linspire.
Linspire: $49.95
Cedega: $44.95
Game X: $40-50
TOTAL: $134.90-144.90
If you really want to use Linspire, you also have to buy the CNR membership. So that would add another $49.95/year.
Now. Compared to Windows:
Windows XP: $100-$250 (Priced @ Amazon)
Game X: $40-50
TOTAL:$140-$300
Pricing Windows XP Home + Game could be cheaper than trying to run it on Linspire.... Though it could also be cheaper on Linspire than running on XP Pro. Upgrade vs Full install also have an impact on the Windows XP price.
I'm taking bets that the next program killed by AOL is ICQ.
They've did kill Netcape and almost killed Mozilla. Now we're seeing that WinAmp/Nullsoft *MAY* be dead. It's only logical that ICQ is killed next. Or worse, merged with AIM (which would be a death blow as well).
It's already been succeeded.:p
Well, I've been using Quintessential Player for a long time. IMHO it's far superior to WinAmp though the default skin for it blows.
Foobar2000 is also pretty good. Sonique had potential, but I haven't heard much from it in ages.
Those of corse are for Windows.... Linux you have mplayer and XMMS.
IMO it'd make more since for Google to purchase Opera Software or at least team with them and use the Opera browser. - Google hasn't been shy about purchasing other companies (eg Picasa, Blogger, etc.)
Why? Well, first off Opera has the ability for non-registered members to make use of Google's text-based ads. This would allow Google to continue making a profit even from a "free browser", then there is of course the option to remove the banner if you purchase a license. Again, bringing in money for google.
The next reason I think it'd make since is because of M2, Opera's email client.
For those who have never used Opera or M2 you might be surprised to find out that GMail and M2 share a lot of the same concepts (almost identical).

Using both M2 and GMail, it looks like the two would be a perfect match for each other.
My i730 phone doen't have blue tooth (AFAIK), so I guess that'd be why I'm missing out on it.
I've seen a lot of other stuff, keyboards, mice, head phones, etc that are blue tooth, but never really hear about anyone using it.
I guess I'll just stick to using USB/USB2 for my PDA, Cell, Keyboard, mouse, etc.
Does anyone actually use blue tooth? People talk about how wonderful it is; yet no one I ever encounter has it.
Reminds me a lot of the Zip disk.
"It's so great."
Do you have one?
"No."
Maybe I'm just on the wrong end of technology, but I've never found a need for blue tooth (or the Zip disk:p).
We've posted a list of links to reviews and news regarding the AMD64 939-pin processors. It's available here for anyone that wants to look at more information on the new CPUs. Currently 18 reviews, and the list is updated as they come in.
Last I checked, it had not been confirmed that MS is the one who paid the money to Opera Software. Bust since I read it on the internet, it must be true.
"Reached by phone, Opera executives refused to name the company involved in the settlement or describe the nature of the legal claims, citing a confidentiality agreement."
I blame the editor.:) I had nice little tables, and he went and changed them to charts.
Actually, after reading this, you've got a point. I hadn't ever thought about it, because I don't do charts, and I guess the boss-guy just never thought about it as well. I've pointed your comment out to him, and you can expect to see better charts next time around.
It has happened in just about every MMORPG IIRC. Ultima Online ran into this issue many, many times. And that was just in one week. :P

Bah, you got to it before I did.

Though... if someone were to use the coupon code LycorisWelcome between 7:30AM and 1:00PM PST they could get Linspire 5.0 for free.
