What's interesting about the Boston Tea Party is that it was not a revolt against taxes, but against the strength of economy. Assuming the source is valid, it's documented here how Benjamin Franklin-made New England prosperous.
You could before and still get cable, but you would need the following:
1) know of someone that gets cable from another provider
2) workout a deal with that someone to place a slingbox at their abode
3) enjoy your redirected cable anywhere and anyway you like
Newegg sold me a borked Seagate HD, where every other sector was uniformally bad. That sort of damage does not just happen. The two drives I got from them did not come in an offical SeaGate box (not sure if that is an OEM thing or a warning sign). Also, they refused to take a return and forced me to send it to Seagate for a refurbed one. I would have prefered a brand new replacement that did not cost me anything extra.
Some retailers have the Web accessable to all, such as Staples or Best Buy; just hop onto one of the display computer models and browser online for support information. I have done this before and when asked what I was doing, I tell them I am very interested in certain products they have, but first needed to check to make sure my computer supports it, since the box is not descriptive enough; No one has given me any problems after I say that. If there is no Net access to customers, then ask nicely and maybe they will help otherwise write the information about the products down, until you can look them up later. Also, does not hurt to carry around a WiFi enabled device look things up whenever you get a signal.
Well... look on the bright side, if you have to run Vista, you can always install cygwin and run Wine to support more of the programs that Vista just does not want to continue to support.... or turn Vista as large thin client and run those must have software on another Windows box or virtual server instance.
May not be a pretty solution, but at aleast people have options.

I do the samething. I have noticed that when using OO.o to save in Doc format the file when read by MS Office ussually does not display things as intended...RTF seems to have better cross application support..., but I so prefer ODT, PDF. Now if only OO.o supported editing PDF files...
Just look for the CE logo to see if it is sold in the EU for proof the product meets their stricter safety and health standards.
CE stands for Conformité Européenne, which is French for "European Conformity." A product in one of the controlled product categories cannot legally be sold in the EU unless it has passed the tests to receive the CE marking.
How about downloading for time-shifting, if I pay for cable or whatever media service? I try and watch shows that networks post on their websites, if and when I miss a live broadcast, but Miro and other options sound far nicer than a DVR or VCR....content is already payed for by me so does it matter where I grab the content? If ads being stripped out or not is key to your answer, then realize I ignore ads, fast-ward, or take a break from the show until they end, so me watching them rarely happens anyways, thus it is a mute point.
True, but some can be misleading. I'll explain-- certain radar guns actually pass through the certain car shells and read the speed of other parts. This happened to a person I know, where the cop swore he was speeding 25 mph over the speed limit while he was actually going the speed limit. After getting specs and the manual copy of the radar gun the state troopers used, he discovered this fact. So either it register the speed of the truck that was passing him at the time or one of the parts inside the car. He used this and mathmatics to fight it in court, but they did not understand the math enough to believe him.... Unrelated, these days, that same guy is a lying manipulative sleeze ball, so maybe he was just practising being dishonest-- I do not know, except the math looked sound, I saw the video tape, and the manual.
Why not run Xen and have a virtual MS Windows space along with Linux or run Solaris and do the samething using Virtual Spaces, or run Windows with Linux on top of using VMware...
He has lots of options... but his whole point is they are forcing him to spend money he does not have, nor anytime soon, in order to run their software. I am curious what they do when a person only has Mac OS X... do they still force that same program but with virtualization or use something else?
Doesn't Sir Elton write a lot of his music with a long term friend that which is created together, but not in person and in fact far distances apart? If I am remembered correctly, then his whole arguement appears rubbish to me.
What makes this interesting is that the episodes that are cut from the films will be reworked to be independent episodes. More information about this can be found at gotfuturama.com
I work for a airline, which I will not name or where I am stationed, but from what I have heard via the TSA people and airline managers--none of them know what people can do. But, from articles that I have read from the Washington Post, Boston Globe, NYtimes, etc... best thing to do is contact the TSA and make a formal request AND contact your state's reps which have a lot more influence in getting that taken care of. If it was me, I would call and write my senators (heck perhaps visit their office even). I seem to recall hearing the news that several state reps over the past couple of years found themselves on the no-fly lists or extra-screening lists they were able to get off them-- so speak to them...some are friendly and helpful, while others are not.
Though I find this article hard to swallow as fact, since those critters are not very trainable, but I do remember reading about the failed cyber-kitty project that the CIA once had several decades ago. If you do not know the story, during the first test run of controlling the cat in public failed to work, and in fact the kitty appeared to kill itself in the process.

Also, how many people downloaded it for free from Radiohead and plan to buy it when it comes out on CD in stores?

Try using the program xvidtune for finding and setting the right monitor configuration.
Such a thing already exists, it's called The Linux Documentation Project.

Good news everyone, with GNU/Linux virtualizing stack, MS Windows can be trusted too...
True, but wasn't Hotmail run on OSS, before MS bought them?

I use AdBlock and FlashBlock too. The ad spam I am talking about is text based ads that filled the wiki pages and project description pages.
I know Google has pointed me to various spam filled project pages on sourceforge... hopefully Slashdot's parent company is doing something about it.
Dia is a OSS replacement option that runs on Unix and MS Windows. http://live.gnome.org/Dia

Send him to the food bank to feed the gigashadow!

If she only intended a few second clip to be recorded and only had that much, then would she not be pretected under the fairuse clause of copyright?
