if u are using Mandrake 9. u must know that urpmi is very very easy and fast to use. dependecies if needed are listed and installed for u. the only time this has not worked for me was when i try to get a certain file to play dvd's that for some reason even penguin liberation front doesnt have. rpms are a great way to install software.
