Good points, good sir, but look at what the mini itx boards are aimed towards. They are not for the heavy gamers. They are not for video encoders. They are for the majority of people who want a quiet, decently fast, quality mobo.

I accidentally put in two cds in an older cd player while working at night...burned out the motor in about 2 days. :(
Not really. Thats like saying a RAID is slow because each individual drive is slow. Thats like saying a car with a turbocharger still has the same horsepower as a car without. Clearly, this is poor reasoning.
Damnit why, everytime a new board comes out, overclocking is brought up.
First, overclocking works decent for a few people, but is not available to the masses for several reasons including technical difficulty and noise issues
Second, overclocking is kind of dumb (expecting 10000 evil replies for that, but listen first) because if the board really could safely go faster, the manufacturer would produce it that way, and sell it for more!
Third, maybe everyone doesnt want their computer to sound like a jet is going off from the cooling needed to overclock, especially since as computers are getting faster, and more "stuff" is being put in smaller and smaller spaces, heat is increasing as well. Thats why mobos are coming with bigger fans, graphics cards are coming with giant fans that take a whole slot, etc.
Now personally, I considered overclocking, fiddled with it, decided it wasnt for me, but I realize a small amount of people will do it. Cheers to them, but why can we not critically analyze a mobo without considering overclocking, which will benefit less than 1% of users! Lets look at the raw performance, and it should be sweet with this fat bus!
Causing the US dollar to drop even more relative to global currencies? If you owe 10 billion, and your dollar is even with lets say the Euro, and you print 10 billion worth of bills, your dollar will likely drop enough relative to the Euro that you can send them all that new money and still owe 10 billion.
But actually I have had problems getting cabs in certain parts of cities at certain times of nights...
But I doubt me having GPS would convince them any more to come to that part of the city, and I would be afraid to pull that out there!
Printers are the piece of hardware that fails the most out of any damn computer equipment since vaccumn tubes!
That is why I:
#1 refuse to buy one
#2 abuse the hell out of my roommates and works printers
#3 trash them on/.
:D But seriously my friend had one of the new model HP printers, prints photo quality (if you use a whole cartridge printing it), and he has a refill kit for it...
I think it lasted 5 months or somewhere near that

Thats the same reason I am using those oldschool rotary phones with pulse dialing!
I do, however, have one of those elite mechanical autodialers for it.

The first arguement is circular reasoning. First, you are assuming improving our faults will result in a monoculture. This will not happen. If I am having a boy, I may not want something changed on him entirely different than someone else. Making my child's hair a different color will not result in a monoculture whatsoever.
Lack of knowledge? The very improvements we make may allow for better reasoning, thinking, and memorization.
Ethics? Too much empahasis is put on poor judgements regarding ethics. Why is GM'ing unethical? Is getting rid of cancer in people through GM unethical? I would say it would be unethical to NOT use this technology.
hahaha when has the answer to life NOT been told to us by the simpsons?
is it 5 million dollars worthwhile rareness?
I would buy some rare *insert collector item here* and make a normal faster/cheaper/better cluster!!!
support microsoft! do it with ten times as many xboxes!
:) But seriously why would they specifically choose g5's....they must have done a bit of research before dropping 5 million on them
Dude what are you talking about
That IS plot.
When I buy doom, I dont want to waste any time thinking, I want to blow mosters up.
Its like buying a firecracker and not sticking it up a frogs ass. Like you bought it to blow shit up...so blow shit up.

Is it legal for them to be selling LSD?
Cuz, I would like to buy some.
This is a bad post!
I am going to start taking LSD to learn faster!
Seriously, this is going to mean trouble for me, and you are to blame.
But dude, it would actually help if it really worked that way.

What the hell is .NET defined as now
.net was but it apparently is not a broad enough definition!
And what the hell is the COM the author referred to
I find it odd to understand every other part of the comments and posts here, excluding the ".NET" and "COM" parts hehe
