Below are some actual Star Trek quotes by and about the borg, Just replace borg with M$, Locutus with Balmer, and Ship with PC -- and you have a pretty good description of M$.

Why is it that so many things in Star Trek come true?

    • I am Locutus, of Borg. Resistance is futile. Your life as it has been, is over. From this time forward, you will service us.
    • We only wish to raise quality of life for all species.
    • We are the Borg. Lower your shields and surrender your ships. We will add your biological and technological distinctiveness to our own. Your culture will adapt to service us. Resistance is futile. We are the Borg.
    • Borg do not consider giving technology away, only assimilating it.
    • You can't outrun them. You can't destroy them. If you damage them, the essence of what they are remains... they regenerate and keep coming. Eventually, you'll weaken. Your reserves will be gone. They are relentless.
    • Brave words. I've heard them before, from thousands of species across thousands of worlds, since long before you were created, but now, they are all Borg.
    • Freedom is irrelevant. Self-determination is irrelevant.
    • Human. We used to be exactly like them. Flawed, weak, organic. But we evolved to include the synthetic. Now we use both to attain perfection.
    • I am the beginning, the end, the one who is many.
    • Negotiation is irrelevant. You will be assimilated.
    • Small words from a small being, trying to attack what it doesn't understand.
    • Strength is irrelevant. Resistance is futile.
    • The Borg do not evolve, they conquer.
    • The Federation's gone; the Borg is everywhere!"
    • You will be assimilated. Resistance is futile.

I can only hope that we overcome the M$ levithan, like in ST

    • Gforce 2 MX 400 PCI
    • ATI Rage Fury PCI

    I am using xinereama

    • The AGP card will run up to 1600x1200 but I can run it 2048x1536 in windows.
    • The PCI geforce card will only run up to 1280x1024, which is fine by me...

I am a christain (who goes to church on Sunday) and normaly I would never post anything on a subject like this, but I have noticed that atheists love these subjects for them to go on about how great they are for not falling for that whole religious crap.

So, I thought I would add this:

    1. Why are atheists so anti-religious? Why should it matter what I believe?
    2. For atheists, atheistism is their religion, which is quite ironic.
    3. It is possible for someone to have an education and still be religious.
    4. Some atheists really want famous scientists to be athiests.
    5. ANY religion is better than none, for what good are we with out any spirituality?

Atheist's don't exist. If you ask anyone why they are an atheist they will proceed to explain their religion of non belief.

"On the desktop, in developing countries, computer dealers will tell you that they sell Linux-based PCs, but in a lot of these places, Windows only costs $1 in the street."

"A Linux PC in most countries is a PC in which somebody is being encouraged to pirate Windows. We conducted some surveys about this in one large Asian country, where we found that, of all PCs that didn't have Windows installed on them when they were sold, 99 percent wound up with Windows on them within 30 days"

He is trying to justtifly why PCs here in the US should come with his operating system, liek M$ has rights to the x86 archetecture!

I wonder if he would say the same thing about Apple if they switched to using x86 chips...

Also the Xbox quote ti hilliarous, and he knows that the Xbox is failling miserably.

Nevermind the fact that Sony has 3/4 of the market.
