Sen. Hatch and the other backers of this bill should be ashamed of themselves for hiding this ill-conceived special interest law behind the veil of "protecting the children". I can't see how anyone in their right minds believes this BS. At best, this is disingenuous. I tend to think of this is as outright lying to the public. Why aren't more people incensed about this?
Seems like every implementation I've seen first hand of "let's rebuild this super humoungous system from scratch" never goes as planned. Inevitably, there are many unforseen problems with the new system. Some of these problems are due to poor planning. Some are not. Some of these problems will be a tremendous pain to fix. Some will be discovered immediately while others will be discovered months or years down the road. In the end, you may wind up with more problems than the old system and you wonder if it was really worth it. Just my $0.02.
Parent might be modded funny but I wouldn't put it past companies to do this. Now we just gave them a centralized list of good phone numbers for their "surveys". The cynic in me thinks that the gov't thought of this and will use it as a profit center.
The writer probably meant the length of project is 10 years. Your interpretation is that the project can be completed 10 years from now. Big difference there.
I also have a SN45G and haven't had any problems. Did you happen to change VCORE? That's known to cause problems.
Regarding AGP, this new XPC has PCI Express which I believe replaces AGP (so you'll throw in a PCI Express video card instead of an AGP video card).

Can't P2P clients just insert language in their EULA to prevent something like this?
