Maybe it's just me, but it took a while from me to realize that they are talking also about boys as well. All I could visualize was to japanese schoolgirls in their uniforms and miniskirts...

"The time required to complete any one game seems to increase exponentially, depending on the initial play level..." Ummm. Perhaps the reason might be that usually wehn increasing the play level increases the time allowed for the computer to decide on best move.
