Uhh...could be MCI got burned in a similar scenario a few years ago. MCI was going to merge with BT. Then Worldcon showed up with their carpet bag and a larger offer. BT was pushed away and the rest is bankruptcy history. Verizon & MCI is a much better mix than MCI & Qwest.

I remember back in the win3.1 days when there was a microsoft branded antivirus product which I used until the following incident. It misidentified abut 250 files as being infected. I had to hit the ignore button for each file to get the program to complete. About 50 files into this process I had a good rhythm going when the ignore button automagically changed into a delete button without a confirm. I deleted abut 10 files before I noticed this change. Arrgh. Be careful what you wish for.

Not a thing. I got ripped off for a DVD ($23) so it was not worth following up. EBAY told me that since the sellers account was suspended, they could not provide user info due to privacy concerns. This was despite the fact that the seller was not suspended when I placed the order. This all happened while I waited to receive the item. I also paid via paypal using my checking account. A mistake. I should have used a credit card via paypal. Paypal was of no help at all.
