Certainly wont pull in anywhere close to the cost of replacements, but I imagine authentic street signs for particular streets would sell for a decent price.

If you're writing the code, its within your power to make it capable of automated testing of any kind.
It may not always make sense to do so, but its not inherently impossible either.
