The F Scale does not refer to the speed of the wind. The F Scale is a measurement of how many times the "F" word is used to describe it. The one that hit us in Limon Colorado was about a F2¾. Would of been a F3, but I was busy ducking. Seriously though, I know full well what the people in the Midwest are going through right now, and wish them well.

  2. .NET vulnerability variation on Security Vulnerability in Microsoft .NET Passport · · Score: 1

Chatmag.com last week had reported a similar vulnerability, coming in an unsolicited email with the subject: "Someone has sent you an Insta Kiss". Clicking the link in the email takes a user to a site hosted on a server in The Netherlands, with what appears to be a valid Hotmail/Passport login screen. It actually captures a users username and password. We informed Microsoft on the 3rd of May, and the site was removed. The email in question is still being sent to users, the link referenced in the email is now out of service.

"The announcement was timed to coincide with the Federal Trade Commission's first public conference on spam, which started Wednesday." AOL announces it blocks 2B spam messages. Disgruntled local ISP client looks in email inbox, see's spam. Client hears the news that AOL blocked 2B spam emails. Client goes to mailbox, retrieves AOL CD, signs up. The next day, happy AOL client goes to email inbox...surprise! That little nugget of news must of been thought up by a former Enron PR person.

  7. Chinese Spammers File Suit (Satire) on Spammers Sue Anti-Spam Groups · · Score: 1

In a move related to the current suit brought against certain Anti Internet Spam organizations, a new group, The ChineseSpammersLiberationMovement.org has filed suit against the virus SARS, naming Mother Nature as co-defendant in the suit. CSLM alleges in its suit that Mother Nature, and other unnamed defendants, did create SARS, which has caused the Chinese Government to close Internet Cafes, therefore denying CSLM members access to their hidden bank accounts and free email providers. In a statement to Chatmag News, a spokesperson for the CSLM said, "we don't blame the Government, we are going after the source of biology and viral science. Mother Nature cannot be allowed to continue to infringe upon our rights to conduct commerce".

I would think a simple solution is for everyone to post the lawyers email address somewhere within their web sites. Then, as the email leeches gather emails, they grab his also. Who knows, maybe he needs something enlarged :)
