Are Hollywood games getting better?
Or is it games are getting worse in genearl and getting as bad as hollywood games?
Or a third option is:
Games are getting worse, and hollywood games are getting slightly better, and starting to meet each other in an equilibrium of sukiness
Could it be that a software deal did not work out between them and another company, or could it be a response to the non pric matching of Micrsoft and Nintendo, cutting out a license fee per box could cut down on cost, along with maybe changing the ports to a switch, which is easier to do.
Microsoft did this when they decided to have dvd support built in, but you needed to buy the remote and pay the 10 doller liscence fee applied to all dvd boxes and threw in a cheap remote.
How about Taxing Spammers like they do Casinos and the Lottery. The States take a split of the money and keep things in check. You would also have to have liscences to spam. This is if your company spams from anywhere in the world. States which are strapping for cash will get additional revenue, things will continue as they have been, and excessive spammers can be congratulated for keeping our taxes down.
Another thing that I have not seen discussed is the money part of the better college/university. Sure it would be nice to have the little better degree but there is money involved. You said your father is saying that another university has a better program.
Make sure your father understands that most likely you will be set back a year because not all transfer credits go through, it will be a little more expensive, and that HE has the finances to get you through it. Because you dont want to end up with enough credits at the new university to make you a junior and find out that you will have to swtich back because of a money problem.
Also along the same lines, tell your father that your applying to MIT and see if he can fund the difference in cost.
How about being a school lackey, working on creating small software packages for people you know will never know how to use them to their full extent and getting paid 5.25/hr because they only have room in their budget for a workstudy.
The people are great to work with, the job is as dull as can be. Being in better places getting paid more is on the workers mind. If they added incentives like free tuition, or free books, etc. Things would be better off for myself, instead of working 2 jobs to keep up with the cost of living while going to school
Well I was first diagnosed with add in 3rd grade. My long time neighbor and first time teacher noticed something wrong in class and had a son who had adhd. Now I never had the hyperactive part, but I know I am a different person without ti. Tried going off of it for a semester at college and grades plummeted from a 3.00 gpa to a 1.00 gpa. And i studied the same amount of time and tried groups, well I was in denial for part of it and didnt want to face the fact, and then I realized moving out that maybe the drugs had something to do with it.
Been using the time release concerta and it seems to work for me. Also on another note the doctor I go to is a pediatrition that used ritilan as a sleep aid in pre-med and saw grades soar, then went off it in med school cause of stricter things and found that if he really enjoyed his work he could concentrate, everything else was shit, but pediatrics he could do. Later when ritalin was better understood he found out that he himself had add, he has tried many times to go off it and found out that he always works better overal with it.
Thought that everyone should know some more
