While good it is not all there is to it. SSDs benefit from the same process shrinking as CPUs and GPUs do.
For fun I created a this table which predicts what processes will be available in the future based on numbers from Wikipedia. They are all in nanometer, and should not be trusted for anything beyond 2011:)
They are the only ones testing a wide variety of hardware using Linux.
There is no contender and I have based many buying decisions on their articles. I still read articles testing hardware on Windows, but their results not necessarily translate to Linux.
"Religion may have been played a small part in convincing the attackers to commit suicide, but the motivation for the attacks themselves was political."
"Apple's IOS operating system (OS) has fallen eight per cent in popularity over the last year, while Google's Android OS market share has doubled"
Apple is a sore little pesky bastard. The iPad tablets they have produced have been around for decades as precursors, and for millennia (or millenniums, if you prefer) as design cues.
There must be some reason why Samsung decides not to fight back much harder, the initial arguments is on their side. There is a secret agenda or clue somewhere. For now, I have no idea.
By its own calculations, Ericsson (NASDAQ:ERIC) has 25% of the essential patents key to the development of long-term evolution networks and devices, making the Swedish vendor the single largest intellectual property holder in LTE. Those numbers contradict a recent survey of patent holdings conducted by Informa, which estimated Ericsson was much lower in the intellectual property rights pecking order, behind Qualcomm (NASDAQ:QCOM), InterDigital (NASDAQ:IDCC), Samsung and Huawei in total patents, and even lower when it comes to essential patents. Ericsson chief intellectual property officer Kasim Alfalahi said he had not seen the Informa report and did not know what methodology its analyst used, but he said that any conclusion that has Ericsson at the back of the pack in essential patents is clearly wrong.
"Finally, we have the lifespan issue. If GNU had chosen Tcl because it was popular, we would have a mass of dead code"
If Tcl had been used it may well have been alive I guess. I suppose it is Turing complete.

According to a report, "New York City Natural Hazard Mitigation Plan Section III: Natural Hazard Risk Assessment", from March 2009:
"According to hurricane probability models, there is a 2.6% chance a hurricane will impact the New York City area (New York City, Westchester, and Long Island) during any given hurricane season. During a 50-year period there is a 13.6% chance a hurricane"
I guess that chance [sic] would have to be recalculated, fast.
This link you provided ended up as:
[debian-adm...ration.org]
which I assume would be something other than [debian-admiration.org]! ;)
Was this one of those serious cases of an MFA, i.e. a Major Fart Alert (that went amok)?
www.debian.org
The essential, and without any brown lipstick smeared all over.

Who likes Apple, and why?!
Samsung has all the sympathy due to Apple's pathetic and strung-up attempts to block a winning competitor.
Couldn't we just agree to dismiss Apple to the garbage bin? The world would be such a better place without them, copy-cats.
They are even rivals to Microsoft and SCO as to retarded campaigns.

This is what should have been Gears of Wars for Playstation 3.
Unfortunately, Microsoft took over the role as the publisher, and one doesn't have to be too surprised that the PS3 was no longer pursued.
Those 2005 images from the video just screams that Epic should have pursued an all platform strategy.
Too bad that there is a Microsoft around.
The video itself http://downloads.punchjump.com/videos/epicgamesps3demo/Epic%20Games%20PS3%20demo.wmv
But, what was their password? So many details about that computer, but no password...

"Death-by-Budget-Cut" since 1987, at least:

Well, at least the phrase itself.
I wonder how many downloads they from Linux users.
Is it too much to hope for a Slashdot-effect and then mail Microsoft and ask them for the stats?
Just a thought.
"Religion may have been played a small part in convincing the attackers to commit suicide, but the motivation for the attacks themselves was political."
That "small part" is lethal.
Actually I was reading /. when I heard about it.
My thoughts are with everyone who lost friends and family members in the attack.
Fuck religion! This is what happens, over and over.
Its working now btw...
Wasn't that the understatement of the hour, to say the least. ;)

"Lenovo: Samsung Galaxy Tab Sales 20K, not 2 Million"
So, that is why Lenovo decided to deride Samsung...
Cheap, in many aspects.
So, make Linux the next OS for PS4!
That would help discussions with Microsoft.

Edit game config files, to begin with.
Then find something that requires a loop, if they still have the interest in fiddling around.

The blockbuster-or-bust model is a good thing for banks, but a catastrophy for the producing tech industry in general.
Product cycles have become too short for companies to financial absorb the eventual yet short-lived dips in sales.
Companies should only be required to report per 12 months.
Wall Street should not be allowed to do more than 6 transactions per company and 24h.
