I don't often agree (like almost never) with drinkypoo, but this is spot on. Entrepreneurship is down in the US, and it's getting worse because of taxes and overregulation. I've had several family and friends who've owned small businesses, and remember my dad saying that he couldn't have afforded to start his company in the regulatory environment of the early-2000s...much of it Michigan state rules. I'm not anti-regulation, by a longshot, but I'd argue that a lot of it is bureaucratic nonsense.
Ah, so we must punish the majority for the crimes of the past, in spite of the fact that none of us reading here were anywhere near those crimes. Got it.
Hate crime laws are found constitutional by the courts. So what is your problem with that?
The attempt to control people's beliefs. So frequently, people are judged to be "haters", when in fact they simply disagree with the person making that claim.
A hate crime, I don't get it. I can not imagine anyone would shoot some one on purpose because they liked them. Are they not all hate crimes?
Well, I hate you, but I agree with your post, and think it's criminal that you were modded Troll. The idea of "hate crime" is ridiculous. The crime is the crime, and it's no better or worse if the perpetrator hated the victim. The SJW crowd (where this kind of idiocy derives from), who believe we shouldn't allow free speech if it offends someone (there's no right to not be offended...there is one to speak freely), now believes they can read the minds of anyone they disagree with.
You can usually adjust Garmin's ETA calculations by tweaking the settings for average speeds on various road types. If you're a fast driver, like me, ticking this up a notch took care of it.
This is a side effect of low unemployment, as companies are once again having to compete for workers. And, it will disappear with the next serious recession.
And so many quality-of-life and medical inventions are a result of our military research.
I'm not sure if you're being sarcastic or believe what you said. So, just for starters, there's radar, duct tape, jet engines, and oh yeah...the Internet.
The GP was clearly talking about major cities, which your link doesn't refute. Chicago, Detroit, and most every other major crime ridden city has been Democratically controlled for decades. Meme that.
I'd suggest (as a Cold War vet) that the Cold War is a bad example. Mutually Assured Destruction (MAD) likely kept things from getting out of hand for many years until the Soviets imploded economically. w
Yes, there's a vast conspiracy among the rich and privileged to keep you peons from invading their kingdoms. But seriously, please point to any evidence you might have of actions taken by those people so we can all revolt.
I've seen little evidence of this as an engineering hiring manager, or while listening to what my daughter went through in business school just a couple years ago. We hire new grads frequently, and they hardly ever have the skills we wish they had. But I see your generalization here frequently, and wonder what it's based upon.
You need to go look up the meaning of the word. Government subsidy money is far from it. But then, you probably were "educated" at one of these schools.
I've had direct knowledge of a few stories over the years. What gets reported is often wildly inaccurate. Reporters often don't understand the topic at hand, or modify the story to make it more interesting.
Correct. Over here in Europe the Democrats would be a right wing party. The US leans very much to the right. Which is not a bad thing, but just an observation.
Or, if you put it in relative terms, over here, Europe leans very much to the left. Just an observation.

It is racist to not treat ALL groups equally
FTFY

I thought the left didn't like stereotypes...oh, the irony.
You shouldn't speak about the document. You clearly haven't read it.
I was there with you until the $400k number. Any evidence of that?
It's pretty simple really. You can forcibly imprison people, but you can't force them to learn or become productive members of society.
The armed forces have been doing just that...for ever.
Oh bullshit. That hasn't been the case in your lifetime even.
What did we do before AC? I grew up in a house w/o any...maybe I should have called the ACLU.

Yeah, a whole 50k newer than you :P

So, you admit to having nothing, but were a big enough asshole to make an unsubstantiated claim. Got it.
Can we all agree that the vast majority of colleges? https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/...
Can we all agree that the news reports have very frequently been talking about how Trump voters are less educated?
So, now we see that all of these more educated people are lacking in critical thinking skills. Oh, the irony!

" I have seen zero evidence for that."
Is this exam "zero evidence"? Or are you claiming that it's inaccurate?
""What if we don't start a war with Spain?"
Interesting. But then we know how that same philosophy worked out for Chamberlain.
You need to go look up the meaning of the word. Government subsidy money is far from it. But then, you probably were "educated" at one of these schools.
Mod parent up.
