Putting Republicans back in power will do nothing to solve anything. The only sensible thing to do is vote out _ALL_ Republicans and Democrats as they are all corrupt; we can't do worse.
So by you, if someone can not pay for life saving treatment they should just die and leave behind their spouse and children. Or get the treatment, have to deal with declaring personal bankruptcy, losing their house, car, etc... and be homeless.

Yeah, i do not get it. What is so special about this? Looks primitive to me, and you still do not have a cross platform solution yet. I can make that game even easier and truly cross platform....HTML, Javascript and CSS. Sure there needs to be some hacks to support broken browsers like IE, and yeah it will run in a slow browser like IE, but it the same code runs on Windows, OSX, GNU Linux, Iphone OS (touch, ipad, iphone), Blackberry, Windows BMW 7 Series (sorry could not resist), Solaris, Palm Web OS, etc...
At lease Apple shows the patents others are violating rather than saying..."hey, we have a whole bunch of patents you linux people are violating. Pay us some money so nothing bad happens"

Who has Google been anti-competitive to? the Microsoft astroturfing on this is crazy. Microsoft _is_ a convicted monopolist. they got to their current desktop monopoly through anti-competitive behavior. Microsoft is just pissed Bing sucks and is a total failure unless they pump hundreds of millions into advertising and paid search deals.

Problem is C# is a proprietary, patent encumbered Microsoft Standard. Take a look at the link to the C# spec and there is a pdf saying so right there. C# is great if you like vendor lock-in to Microsoft and paying them a ton of money. For my company, I will choose Java any day of the week as it runs great on all platforms (no half baked patent entangled implementations) and has far more industry support. And best of all, i can implement Java solutions for zero cost of software.
While Java is controlled ultimately by Oracle, there is a fairly open body stewarding it unlike the vendor dominated rubber stamp EMCA which really does nothing to control C#; Microsoft is the sole controller of C#. The evolution of closed vendor standards is of course faster than inclusive standards bodies. And the academic syntactic sugar of C# is really nothing of importance to the vast majority of software developers.
Here comes months of Congressional hearings which will result in yet another bureaucracy with a name along the lines of: The Department of CyberEspionageChildDefendingPatriotAnti-TerroristJusticeBringers
I think it's taxes that are the problem! If I want to be paying money to someone else I'll go give to a charity, not have my money taken from me by force by the government!
