    Anybody else in Michigan ever visit the Detroit model railroad club in Holly?
    I did. It was the biggest pile of shit that you could possibly imagine. I got separated from my guardian and couldn't find an adult anywhere. That was my first nervous breakdown, I've had several since, but mostly under control if I stay away from trains.

    The fact that most companies would be more profitable using Open Source is irrelevant because the 'Open Source Lobby' holds no weight (read cash to bribe), over the lawmakers. Those that use Open alternatives will be survivors, because they will lower overheads, those that don't, won't. Business on the whole has switched on to this, and will fight this type of anti-choice profiteering.

    Remembering the total fiasco Kew Public Records Office made of putting the 1901 UK census records online using IIS, it'll probably take them 3 months downtime to realise that they should have used SCO/Linux servers.

    The 44 kHz (IIRC) sampling frequency of a CD means that you can actually record signals with frequencies as high has 22 kHz
    However the timbre of the reproduced signal at this frequency will be nothing like the original. Anyway use this frequency is only intended for the aural pleasure of dogs.

    Leave plenty of time to get to the airport then, took me one and a half hours from central Shanghai to Pu Dong in a taxi, after being told by the concierge that it was only 20 minutes away, nearly missed my flight, and then they ripped me off with some kind of exit tax that I didn't have enough Yuan to pay for, bastards, that was one stressfull day.
