Its a retorical question, im expressing that its an old piece of hardware and may not implement the whole of most recent opengl specifications or standards, it was meant to be a joke/sarcastic comment, but get over it, but dont flame me because u got up out of the wrong side of your bed.
Is this gonna add any speed boosts to "laggy" old X, network transparency slows blah blah blah or will it even have the total opposite effect?, It all looks very cool and seems to work well, did the tnt2 even support opengl!! bloody hell i feel sorry for this guy.

doesnt look like hes been going at it for that long but i reckon could end up being a really cool extenions to X. How will this effect the fork() of X??
I couldnt be bothered reading through all the posts but had something to say so im probably redundant (bring on the moderators!!!!).
Is it just me or is the emphasis on the money they can make from the engine, its damn good, i doubt any hardware im gonna have soon will run it, but quater of a mill for the q3 engine, bit steep! it makes me think how much they make from the actual game rather than the engine, how many games have licensed the q4 engine so far, I bet the gameplay will suffer, Dramaticly, the expansions paks sound like a bad idea, cool and everything, but if its worth buying why isnt it in the original game!
http://slashdot.org/article.pl?sid=03/04/09/015625 9&mode=thread&tid=102&tid=142... its a repost, im convinced this will be a good idea for sun, its a good combination and would do wonders for both companies, its a hole in the market that could be filled easily, high end reliability with low costs, ahh well... watch for the same comments as yesterday
so instead of actually commenting on the subject of my comment your going to mark my grammer?
